The location, price and overall stay was great!

Rooms didn’t have AC but thankfully during early September the nights are nice!

Tiny cramped room with uncomfortable bed. Sink blocked. Shower blocked. Stuffy, hot room with a dusty fan. Thin walls.

Great location, good price

I'd recommend descaling the showerhead as it was calcified. I had a go but it needed vinegar or lemon juice - then the place would have been great.

Very nice staff - bed was comfortable - everything was pretty clean - check-in out of the usual times possible

Sink had no plug (almost dropped something in there) - the window was completely useless for noise protection, i could hear every word on the street as if they were standing next to the bed shouting at me - same for the neighboring rooms, i could clearly hear what they were talking about as if the wall was just a sheet of paper, plus people kept slamming doors in the middle of the night - Kept waking up due to all the noise, didnt sleep much - be smarter than me and bring a pair of good ear plugs! - Also the shared toilet had lots of pee on it every time i wanted to use it, but of course the hostel can't do anything about peoples' bad aim :)

For a budget hotel it was exactly what I was looking for! Facilities were ideal and all I really needed for the one night I stayed. There was no air conditioning which is the only reason I deducted 2 points but I suppose that’s to be expected. I am especially impressed with the staff. My Ryanair flight was delayed twice which meant I had to repeatedly delay my check in time after already requesting a late check in, but they were completely understanding and accommodating - including when I couldn’t figure out how to unlock my room door and had to contact them at midnight! They also held my bags for free after I checked out even though I offered to pay for an additional night. Thank you so much!

The "Hotel" of the title is misleading as it really is a B&B establishment. A spiralling staircase (as a lighthouse) led upwards to the rooms and one would have to fit, and in their full senses, when using such, side handrails affixed but it would be very difficult to manage a large suitcase on such a stairs. That being said , the establishment is what it is and is perfect for a short stay . Although there was a radiator in the room for winter use, there was no air conditioning and with outside temperatures into the lower 30's the room was quite warm but the extreme heat of the sun was moderated by wooden window shutters.

Comfortable inexpensive night, Very good and easy to find location in the old town and a stroll from the gare. Helpful German manager with v good English. Happy to let me use the hotel printer pro bono for travel docs.

No frills and the shower drained super slow, but oh well! I came to Nîmes to see the sights and I appreciated the cheap room.

Staff were really welcoming and helpful with all my queries. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
