great location, owner & staff v.friendly and helpful, nice to meet other travellers at the kitchen table

the bikes were in need of some maintenance- gears, brakes and saddles & currently don’t represent good value at 6 euros a day.

Location is perfect. Great vibes of a hostel, with nice fellow travelers and tons of info.

The 'suite' we took was beautiful, but it's still a hostel. Our main problem was lack of blankets. You get a thin sheet and on top of it a beautiful but very hard and pretty dusty and dirty cover (can't be washed). The night was cold and it was very uncomfortable and not nice with the sheet and cover on top of it - and in addition it was still cold. So we had a very short night. I love dogs, I love dogs very much - but there are quite some dogs that are barking and growl at you - which is unpleasant.

Good location. Great communication. Helpful with planning the rest of our trip. Would stay again.

Location is good,because you can get mini bus for komani lake,room was clean and big,decorated cute old style:)receptionist was helpful 👌

We really enjoyed our stay here because the whole place felt like a little home, with super friendly people who not only give you all the informations you need for Shkoder but also make you feel safe and comfortable. If you‘re searching good vibes this is the place to be ;)

Amazing and helpful staff. They will explain you about what to do in the center and about the trekking Valbona-Theth. You can even buy the tickets for the trekking from them and the bus will come to collect you just in front of the hostel. In the morning you can have free coffee or tea. Nice common area and bar outside where you can chill until 11 pm, then you need to be silent (I appreciate that rule, because most of us have to wake up really early for the trekking). The place is clean and tidy and have a great chill vibe.

Excellent hosts, very helpful. Arranged transport for the valbona-theth hike and provided coffee and breakfast to take away. Rooms pleasant, comfortable. Nice communal area

the place is decorated in s lovely way, good location, good organisation of the Valbona-Teth trip, it’s not a full package like at their competitor’s but I didn’t mind. one of the places to stay in Teth that they recommend is where the Wanderer’s package goes though, I would have preferred to know that and avoid staying there .

I stayed here twice, the door of this small private room wouldn’t close. A headsup that you have to be fast to board the overcrowded Koman ferry in order to secure one of the scarce seats would have been helpful.

Very cosy, owner really cares for the place. Hostel Has a character and history. Stuff is super helpful. Lots of little cosy places to sit and work. Locers to lock you valuables - good. Very recommend.

People smoke in a garden, but thats Balkans .. Location is city central..

This hostel has a great location. The staff has done a great job of outlining the steps to trek in the Albanian Alps including Transport, tickets, and places to stay. This is a huge help for everyone.

Sometimes the staff was present but "off duty" but you would not know it. They didn't like to be bothered (which I can understand) but if you need help you are going to naturally ask them something and it isn't the best to then learn they are off duty and are now going out of their way to help you - kind like being in trouble (or at least feeling bad) when you didn't do anything wrong. Maybe someone else could be there at the same time so the off duty person could send them to the on duty person. In general though the staff was extraordinarily helpful and that was a valuable asset to the hostel.

Cozy, comfy and laid back. Regularly cleaned! Great kitchen facilities.
