I really love the simplicity and the beauty of this place. It was really peaceful and well organised.

Only the lights on the beds didn't work.

The location is absolutely perfect. The building is beautiful and the staff is really kind.

Location was fantastic, very close to the waterfront, easy access to restaurants etc Room was really nice, large and airy with a good view of marina and pico. Bed comfy. Shower was really good. Hotel looks really nice inside and outside with bright modern design inside and attractive outside (there are some major roadworks going on right outside hotel which will make it more attractive when finished but this didn't spoil our stay) Reception staff professional and helpful in providing information when needed..

Breakfast very basic and not replenished so if arriving for breakfast after 9am, very little left (fruit and yogurt all gone) Staff member said there wasn't any more when we asked. Breakfast room was dark in the morning with blinds closed. Maybe some staff training and attention to detail would help.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The entrance of the building feels special. There are a lot of attention to details this place has a lot of charms. The bedroom with views on the marina is amazing. The shared room is conformable too. Very lovely with two nice desks and view on the hill. There are two restaurants on the ground floor, including a delicious Japanese restaurant. Yes the elevator is super slow but the staircase is beautiful.

Beautiful old building. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The reception staff helpful and understanding.

The breakfast situation is unclear. It is supposed to be served between 8:00 - 10:00 . We were told upon arrival that we can simply come over in the morning between those hours. As we appeared there at 9:30 am we were informed by the staff member of the café that the breakfast was over.

A beautiful hotel in a historical house located in front of Horta's marina, so you have easy access to all the main sights and places of the city. A very spacious room, comfy beds, a clean and modern bathroom. Views over the bay are great.

There is road work around the hotel, so we couldn't park and walking to hotel was bit difficult. If it wasn't for that, hotel will be perfect.

A 15 min walk to ferry station, but a beautiful walk. Street construction until end of June 2023, but not really an obstacle and closed windows blocked sounds well

I shared a room with an older woman who was very invasive. She sat on my bed covered only with a towel and when she got up she had pooped a little. I felt very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place.

I really recommend to stay at Internacional Azores Boutique when in Horta. Our stay in this hotel exeeded our expectations. Room had a great view, small balcony opening to the bay comfortable bed and fancy atmosphere. And the price for our stay was really reasonable. Plus it was one of the rare accommodations where you don't feel the humidity inside the room, which was superb. Only good words!

We had a room with an ocean view, which was fantastic. It was also very spacious and airy. The receptionist was more than friendly and gave us many recommendations, which were very helpful.

If you have the option, don't choose breakfast. Although it is sufficient, it doesn't taste so well.

Poor selection of food for breakfast (very basic stuff, I had to survive on ham and cheese sandwiches for 5 days...), unfortunately some flies flying around the food, which made us lose our appetites a few times. Some of the staff in the reception having problems with communicating in English. Finally, hotel created lots of confusion for us. When we made the reservation they reached out to us asking whether we might be interested in a room upgrade, 32eur/night. Price seemed already quite high, so we decided not to go for it. When we arrived, we heard there is an overbooking and they have to give us a better room for the first 2 nights anyway, free of charge. That's the nice part. We really liked the room and also decided we want to avoid the big inconvenience of packing up, storing luggage and then unpacking again in another room for the remaining 3 nights, so after the first night we asked if the upgrade was still possible. Overbooking was their fault and it was creating some inconvenience for us (packing and unpacking a few times) plus they have already offered us an upgrade free of charge for the first 2 nights - my expectation was that it is only fair to charge us additionally only for the remaining 3 nights. Instead, they insisted on charging an upgrade fee for all 5 nights of 30eur/night (lower than what they sent us earlier via Booking.com, but actually higher than the official price list they had in the reception, which only mentioned 20eur difference between the 2 types of rooms). Much as we enjoyed the room and our stay in Horta, this is not the right and fair handling of such situations on their side

Everything was perfect from the start. A very warm welcome by the staff, very good beds, amazing view from the terrace, and a very nice breakfast! It was really sad I had to leave so soon.

Bookings made a mess of things. Very hard to communicate on the website how many people are coming. That resulted in surprising charges when we reached the hotel. The hotel staff indicated thisb is a common reccurance and acknowledged the Bookings website is a mess
