姉のが住んでいる家の近くなので、選んだ。レマン湖の前で良い。スーパーが沢山あるのも、便利。ジュネーヴまで、電車ですぐ。
以前にも宿泊したけれど、冷蔵庫がないのが残念。四つ星と言われてるけど、それはないと思った。空調が、コントロールされていて、暑かった。

Location in Versoix is nice and hotel has clean, high-quality facilities. But see "warm room/stagnant air" issue noted below. Addressing the issue could significantly improve level of comfort of guests.
It would be nice to be able to open the windows for fresh air. The thermostat in the room could not be adjusted, likely because of the energy-conscious town and country. However, the air in the room became stagnant during the night. It is so nice to have fresh air. I understand the safety issues with windows that open. But hotels should think of a way to solve this problem.
There was also some confusion about difference between "petit dejeuner" and "full breakfast" in this hotel. For those unfamiliar with "petit dejeuner," I suggest the hotel has something printed out so guests can understand. I must confess that after traveling 2 weeks in Switzerland and staying at many hotels, the concept of "petit dejeuner" used at Lake Geneva was not used anywhere else. All other hotels simply had a "full breakfast" included in the rate, which I think provides a better experience for guests.

you cannot control the heat in the room and as it was too warm for us we had to open the window but then we had the noise from the train station just in front.

The location was perfect right next to train station which made getting around so easy. The hotel also provided a free travel pass for the time we were there which was excellent as we could use all mode of transport to move around

Friendly and courteous. Dinner and breakfast was good but the coffee was substandard especially for Geneva Switzerland… and I would say overpriced
No AC in room and opening the window for some air made it very noisy. Was also in the airport flight path so for Summer was not a great experience. Plus no coffee or refrigerator in room and the amenities like cabinets and lamps were cheap. Just not what you would expect in Geneva.

The room with the lac view is quite special. The terrace bar and the restaurant menu have good options. The staff is very helpful and friendly

Lobby, breakfast room, and terrace all feel classy, and there are great views over the lake from the terrace. Breakfast buffet is extensive and good quality. Restaurant O'Five is excellent. There is swimming access to the lake just two minutes down the street. Hotel is conveniently located next to several supermarkets, a high-end chocolate shop & bakery, as well as the Versoix train station.
Hotel is climate controlled to save energy (which is a good thing), but for some reason this meant that night-time temperature in the bedroom was 25C -- too hot to sleep. The shower was of poor quality / poorly designed: the knob to switch from bathtub to shower came off the first time we used it, using the shower got the floor wet, and there was nowhere to hang up things one didn't want to get wet. In a 'standard' room, basics like tea/coffee and a fan were not provided.
