I loved the location! So beautiful and unique. I enjoyed my morning walk in the surrounding area - it was lovely. The room was clean and spacious, and the amenities were greatly appreciated.

An unbelievably unusual place to stay! The room was lovely and cool on a very hot day. Everything was clean and in excellent order. A generous breakfast and a safe place to store bicycles was provided.

The downstairs room we were in lacked a bit of privacy due to the unique construction of the doors and windows. Not a big problem but may have been improved with the option of net curtains or something nicer that gives a bit of screening.

the fort is a really great place to stay with exceptionally friendly staff.

Very nice location in the middle of nature and a very special setting and historical ambiance. I liked being in an old fortress and my wife and kids also loved it. The room we had had 2 floors and was very spacious and comfy. The breakfast was as you might expect: a wide choice of bread, fresh croissants and orange juice, cereals and yoghurt. Good quality coffee from a Schaerer machine. The room was clean and obviously well maintained.
