Montville Country Cabins was the perfect secluded getaway. The cabins had all we needed, the breakfast was simple but plentiful, there was more than enough firewood for our stay, and the bed was big and comfy :)

There isn't much reception onsite, which is perfect if you're trying to escape, but there's no wifi either, which made it hard for me to do some small work things while away...

Had such a beautiful time with my husband. The little extra treats made it so special. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, the bbq hamper was so yummy also. Loved the birds too. Just all round an amazing getaway. We will be back definitely. Thank you for having us

It was a great breakfast and the cabin Peace was perfectly positioned for privacy and comfort, we can't wait to come back again.

It rained the hole time but we think that it was not a bad thing

The location and the quiet secluded feel of the cabin were exactly what we were looking for. The birdlife, friendly, cheeky kookaburras were an absolute delight, as were the views from the spacious verandah.

No air conditioner in the main living areas downstairs. Checkout time of 10.00 am made it all feel a little rushed on our final day. We stayed five nights and paid a premium holiday rate, I think a few minutes extra grace upon departure wasn't too much to ask. I understand that there are a few cabins to clean for the next guests' arrivals but you can't clean them all at once, a little leeway rather than a curt "No" would have made a better impression.

The breakfast hamper was great, ample toiletries.

Our cottage was beautifully appointed, clean & private, with great attention to detail & a stunning view of the lake. Ample breakfast provisions, cooking equipment & bathroom supplies. The bed was soooo comfortable & what a view from the bedroom! We loved sitting on the deck talking to the local kookaburras, magpies & other birds. Lovely hosts ensured we wanted for nothing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to all 🙂

The breakfast supplies were fantastic and plentiful, the view was amazing and the feathered visitors were quite a laugh.

The only complaint I have is that I didn't book a longer stay.

It was such a romantic spots with the perfect set up for a weekend away! The location is superb and the cabin was amazing!! We will definitely be back.

Gardener mowing 2 days in a row. I know the property is large and the grounds need attention but noise from mower both days of our stay was unfortunate. Possibly mowing every 2nd day may be better.

The seclusion, log fire, hot spa, breakfast hamper the warm greeting on arrival and the wild life.

The distance from the reception as it was mostly up hill. This was only a problem for me but would not be for others.

We were very happy with our cabin Harmony, it was private and quiet, with a spa looking out into the rainforest. The little fireplace and kitchen kept us warm and comfortable during our stay. The property is beautiful with a nice damn and nicely manicured gardens, perfect for a walk around. Can't wait to come back!
