Location
Facility not well managed.lift not working to the 4th floor,cleanliness of toilet and bath not to international standard,bathroom door damaged and it was left unattended to and we needed to demand for a better room which was slightly better.

The reception was welcoming and the staff so cool and the nature from the entrance, beautiful plants and cool breeze, and also the manager was very friendly when I ask her for information, she replied with a welcoming smile
I loved everything and this is my second time there I must say the prizes are affordable for such a standard hotel and the ambiance is everything. I will always recommend anytime any day sincerely

I generally enjoyed the food and the restaurant staff are great and courteous. But the rats in the restaurant are definitely a put off.
I have been using the hotel for close to 15 years but this time, my experience is very unpleasant. My first stay between 16-19 June, I was placed in a room infested with cockroaches with dirty carpet. Whilst in the restaurant, I saw rats playing and running around several times which I filmed. I brought each of these to the attention of the staff.
My return stay between 5-7 July, I was disappointed to be told on arrival I could not have the presidential suite I booked for as it was already reserved for someone else. I ended up staying in a lesser accommodation.

The deal is breakfast for one for the kind of room we booked. The breakfast was good, with varieties of cereals to choose from, along with the main meal.

The room was nice. I consider it as compensation for the room that I had on the 10th of May 2023. Everything functioned well in the room. Although, the water pressure dropped slightly in the morning, the explanation from the Housekeeping Manager was that all the guests maybe having a shower almost at the same time in the morning. The breakfast (boiled potatoes with fish sauce and mushrooms) was fantastic.
This time around, there isn’t anything to report. My advice to guests will be to report issued immediately to the Front Desk Manager (Adebola) OR escalate it to the General Manager (Pamela). Once a matter is reported, these two personnel will ensure that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible. It is always good to talk!

As usual, the location is superb. It is easily accessible and simple to describe to anyone. More so, it is strategically located on Obafemi Awolowo Way. Another booking was made for the 12th of May 2023.
Again, there were issues in the room that was allocated to me. These were raised with the Front Desk Manager, however, the General Manager became aware. For instance, the hot water in the bathroom does not come on automatically, it has to be turned on but guests are not given this information during check in. Also, during breakfast, the water melon was unripe and sour.

I raised a couple of issues / observations with the GM and Front Line Manager during my visit in February 2023. I was very pleased to find out that all had been resolved. Well done! The breakfast was good. More so, the watermelon and the pineapple that was provided were succulent, juicy and sweet just like those from Marks and Spencer (M&S) OR Waitrose in the UK.
Customer Service at the front desk needs improvement and a minor issue in the room. Again, these were brought to the attention of the GM and the Front Line Manager. I am 100% sure that these will be addressed ASAP. This should not stop customers from making their hotel bookings at De Rembrandt Hotels and Suites, Ikeja.

Did not have our reservations. Stated they had no rooms.
Very uncaring at the reception desk. The manager was very nice. He was able to get an executive room for us but rhw fridge was not working.

The location was close to the mall which made buying extra things easier.
The room was dirty and had an awful stench that just wouldn’t go away. I complained about it and it seemed like nothing was done. This wasn’t my first time staying in the hotel and I had the same complaint the first time. The bed sheet and duvet were also dirty and very uncomfortable to use.

The breakfast was okay. The location is really good for connecting other areas in Lagos.Well located for easy transportation to the Airport, close to a standard shopping mall, and with good scenery.
The environment needs a schedule for fumigation.

Some of the facilities were dated and the toilets were not up to par.
