Awesome views and architecture

The room is very big and with an oversized bed. Also, we had a private balcony and access to a very nice pool with a great view. The breakfast was very nice.
The hotel was very isolated and there were not many options for dinner around without having to drive.

Room was nice, especially the terrace with the view into the mountains, really nice quiet and remote location in the corsican north mountains with nice small pools to be shared with a few other apartments, Ideal place to wind down from stressful times. Breakfast is fresh and healthy,
Bit steep walking needed from the parking to the hotel, but golf cart available to assist if needed. Have to be able to speak some french, especially in morning no english speaker there (might be due to offseason).

Unbeatable location for peace and tranquility. The room was fantastic with a spectacular view. A beautiful pool and the ambience in the evening with dinner in the restaurant just perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast could have been a little fresher and it could have been made more obvious when booking that breakfast isn't included in the room rate

Location and hotel is amazing and you can see that the owner has a fantastic eye for style, design, architecture, interior design. The parking lot is a bit below the hotel and it is a quite steep way. However, they pick up you and your luggage with a golf cart, which is really nice and convenient. The complex offers everything you need (breakfast, lunch, dinner, pool, drinks). View is breathtaking. Breakfast offers everything we needed.
The 2 young people serving during dinner, were really nice, forthcoming and tried everything to make us feel welcome.
We are fully aware that we were in France and that we cannot expect everyone to speak English or any other langue (than French) fluently. However, we would have appreciated a bit more effort to communicate with us. The menu as well as additional hotel information in the room (typical hotel info map) were all in French, which is fair. However, it caught our eye that only those sentences including a prohibition or a "command" were translated in English (like: Do not move the chairs. You have to leave the room by 10). Every other information (like when there is lunch available, where we can find what) was not translated.
Considering the high standard of the hotel as well as the price, we didn't like the fact that they only provided plastic cups as tooth mugs and a really very nasty toilet brush.
We (2 people) stayed for 9 nights and had only 5 hangers in our wardrobe. So we kindly asked for additional ones. The owner listend to our request, mildly nodded and nothing happened.
In total, we have to say that we really loved the location, but had the feeling that the owner is not a host from heart. We often stay at small, family-owned places and usually love the kind and warm atmosphere of those places. We didn't feel kindly welcomed and we definitely didn't feel that our host likes being a host and that she enjoys having guest.

Everything. The location is, at first, a bit treacherous to get to. But that's only because we weren't used to driving on mountain roads (also, the SAT NAV takes you up a very old road. There's a much easier way to access the hotel via the main road, follow the signs to LAMA, not the SAT NAV!!).
Once there, the scenery, the town, and the hotel itself exceeds expectations. It was the most incredible and overwhelming 10 minutes. I cannot describe how beautiful it all is. The hotel staff were wonderful, and, despite our pigeon French, were incredibly welcoming and made sure we knew our way around the room's & the hotel's facilities.
The room we stayed in was exactly as it was in the photos. I genuinely thought the images were just 'some of the best bits' from each of the rooms. But every single photo used to promote the room we booked was 100% accurate. The room itself was immaculate (and was cleaned each and every day throughout our stay), and there were a plethora of areas for you to fold, hang, or store your clothes, toiletries, etc. This was wonderful and meant we didn't have to live out of our cases for the week we were there.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone looking for beauty, adventure, charm, and something truly boutique-y and unique. I'm planning on going back when I've brushed up on my French a bit!
Absolutely nothing. We chose not to indulge in the breakfast available (priced at 18 euros per person as a set fee), so we didn't experience any grievances that previous guests on other reviews might have.
