The main picture of the guesthouse on booking.com is of a hottub but there was no hottub that we saw in the guesthouse.

Amazing views! The icon stones, Faraglioni can be seen from the dining room and the amazing bay from the jacuzzi. Its located in a beautiful area, and not too close to the noise.

rooms are not spectacular but comfortable. Take into account the more than 100 stairs you need to climb from the property gate to the lobby, specially if you are carrying luggage. As well as the distance from the bay and the walking distance from the plaza. I will suggest you ask for support to arrange the pick up of your luggage from and to the port since there is an external company that provides this service.

it is like an old but modern big house. The decoration of the floor was unbelievable. Despite of being big and have different rooms, we didn’t have any trouble at night with the noises. Francesco and Grepert were super nice and polite!

From the start of our visit, Grepert helped us with our luggage and showed us the grounds. We had breakfast served every morning with Croissants and yogurt, fresh yummy coffee and hot tea. He went above and beyond to make our stay most enjoyable. The Villa was lovely as well, decorated like an interior decorator came in and added all the luxury items you would enjoy seeing in a Villa as such. The Faragliano Rocks are right out your door, onto your balcony. It’s truly a dream come true. I’d love to come back and if I do, I’ll stay here again. 5 stars ⭐️ and we can’t thank you, enough Grepert. Ciao. Come see us in Texas. Linda Burgtorf

Nothing to not like about it.

it was clean

The bathroom was a little too far for our liking, in the middle of the hallway with access to everyone in the house. We mentioned to booking that we had a “private” bathroom, but it was open to everyone in the house? No one mentioned anything about being able to take the key that was on the door and locking it while it was not in use. Francesco was rude and mentioned about how in his culture you don’t complain before you ask. The comment was “in my culture before starting a complaint.…first thing i do l ask…but i cannot pretend everybody is like me!!!” How unprofessional and uncomfortable to make your guests. I understand we booked this room, but we just didn’t feel comfortable and Francesco’s snobby and rude attitude did not help. His comment was borderline racists.

Friendly staff, pleasant breakfast view, good recommendations for restaurants and places to see around the island.

Not really a problem, but there are a lot of stair steps to reach the guest house, which can be a bit challenging at times.

The property was perfectly located near the centre of Capri. Steps were difficult but the lovely staff helped with this and I appreciate it’s not something that can be helped as is typical for the location. Views during breakfast were stunning and breakfast was great as well as the service provided by the staff.

The heat in our room was not enjoyable. With only a small fan providing cool air, which wasn’t of a high quality, for a four star guest house I would expect air con or two high quality fans or even one that could adequately cool the room. The mosquitos were unbearable. Perhaps a net would be beneficial for future? The bed, pillows and bedding were not of a quality I would expect for a four star luxury guest house, this only added to discomfort and heat, felt synthetic and not of a quality again that I would associate with the rating provided by others. The room was small, with no bathroom en-suite which I appreciate should have been researched properly on my end. I was just a little disappointed by the situation in regards to the ratings provided by people. I also note that the host has been really spoke of highly, unfortunately we did not have the pleasure of meeting them, I appreciate this would have added to the experience. I will say our room was cleaned during our stay, which was very kind. Bathroom was okay, I appreciate it is not new and therefore may not be so easily cleaned but did not come across as the most cleanly of places due to some older black mould down the bottom of the shower area, and we were only able to use the smaller shower head not the larger above one.

Astounding view, close to capri center, friendly hosts, artistic interiors, cozy rooms, pin point recommendations for activities and gustation!

A long stairs to the enterance but this is common around the buildings at the island. You can get help from porters or hosts to carry the bags.

We loved the view from the King Room, as well as the hot tub. We were made to feel very welcome and had some great recommendations from the host Francesco.

We did not appreciate the distance we had to walk from the centre of Capri to the guest house! (no more roads) It was around 20mins with 2 large suitcases in the midday Summer heat. however there are suitcase carts that can assist if you book in advance. we did also get assistance bringing these up the 133 steps to the guesthouse.

After 6 days in three different Italian cities, we arrived in Capri for our last destination. Francesco’s Villa Core instantly felt like home and it did really when he arrived the next day and welcomed us very warmly. The location is to dream of and you have always a wonderful view of the sea and the beautiful landscape of Capri. When you are eating on the Terrasse for breakfast, it feels like you are on the lookout because of the magical view. The villa gives you a view of the Faraglioni (the famous rocks). The architecture from inside makes you feel as if you were in an Italian movie or a museum because everything is put so well together and you feel that there is someone behind it who spend a lot of time reflecting on it. To conclude: Villa core has character. Francesco was so welcoming, genuine, good-hearted, and open-minded; he invited us for lunch which he cooked himself (the best authentic Italian spaghetti you’ll ever have 10/10), we ate together and had very good laughter. He has a very positive character and humor, is unproblematic and he always tries his best to make you feel comfortable in any kind of situation. Francesco gave us a good understanding of how the Italian mentality is and you get to know Italy and its hospitality way better. We are happy that we got an authentic understanding of the Italian culture. Furthermore, on our arrival, we got a letter which Francesco put together himself with the best recommendations for sightseeing or restaurants in Capri. We must say, that those helped us because we fell into a tourist trap on the first day of our arrival and we were disappointed by the food. But going after his recommendations was just the best because we had fantastic Italian dinners and went sightseeing like people from Capri would do. So we can say, that we got a very authentic understanding and experience of the island thanks to his advice. We also want to mention his staff, which was very lovely, made us comfortable and never said...

nothing to complain

owner and staff were there and incredibly accommodating and helpful. there are a tremendous amount of steps to take to get to it from the front gate, but it is worth it for the view on the main balcony that they serve cappuccinos and wonderful crescents in the morning. I would absolutely recommend due to the staff

the room was a little unusual, up a back staircase with bunk beds and single queen, however we had no clear expectations of what the room was like that we would be in. We also had some hiccups on booking, which eventually resolved. Our specific room would not be one you would want to just stay in without touring out much, but we were in our room only at night to sleep so it worked perfectly for our situation

This was one of the best properties I have ever been. The host Francesco and his employees were helpful and always on service for everything that we needed. reservations, recommendations, we got everything that we asked. The breakfast on the terrace is breathtaking.

This is a 12/10 experience, coming back for sure! Francesco is by far the nicest host that I ever met (and I have quite a bit of a traveling experience). The villa itself is incredible with probably the best views of the Faraglioni. The staff is very kind, nice and super clean.

the property is very well located next to Capri center, beautiful and with the view on faraglioni. Francesco (the owner) is adorable and kind, I will do everything to make you feel at home and to help you discover this beautiful island. Grepert, the staff, is a very nice and very efficient person. I will always be there to help you with a smile ! the room was always clean and the breakfast was served on the terrasse. we also had access to the jacuzzi which was very relaxing. I recommande ++ to spend a good time in Capri ! Hélène and Catherine

Great host Francesco (and lovely furry assistant mimi) was delightful, truly passionate about hospitality and very keen to share all the wonders if his beloved Capri. Superb sea views from the main hall and terrace. Special mention for the cleanliness too.

Quite a few steps to reach reception, but that’s how you great the great views and quietness (and feel better about all the great food you just ate). Hot tub is seasonal and seems mostly during warmer months.
