The cozy atmosphere and tastefully decorated rooms made us feel right at home. The friendly and helpful staff added to the overall exceptional experience.

A very welcoming host, who even booked us a table at a nearby restaurant since we checked-in late in the evening. Room was comfortable and clean. A very good choice of food and drinks for breakfast, and delicious too!

Caring and really friendly people

Mairead was very kind and called a restaurant to let them know we were arriving last minute before closing the kitchen, as we arrive in the evening. The house is in a quiet area with easy access to the road, 20 min from Kilkenny. Breakfast was excellent in a beautiful room looking at the garden, with home made omelettes and so many other good things! We only spent one night, but really enjoy our stay here.

The reception received from our hosts, Maireard and Tony was warm and friendly as they made us feel very welcome in their home. They were supportive and helpful when we needed any information about the area. We also appreciated their kind invitation to join them in a social evening with friends at the local pub. We enjoyed their company. The breakfasts were excellent, providing plenty of energy for the start of the day.

The “Home-away-from-home.” atmosphere. Every little detail is considered, Even the lighting outside highlights the beauty of the grounds, bathed in the moon light. Had a lovely meal at the Lord Bagnal, exceptional and in the village close by. Thank you Mairead and Tony, superb.

Location was great. Staff were so friendly and very helpful will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends.

it is a little far out from the nearest pub but the host offered to drive us to the pub or if we drove and left the car in the car park she offered to drive us back in the morning to pick up the car. she is lovely, very accommodating.

Everything was just perfect! Such a nice place to stay! Very clean and comfortable room! And the best: a very lovely owner. She prepared a great breakfast for us even though we had to checkout quite early to get to the airport, what we really appreciated!

Mairead was absolutely wonderful!! She went out of her way to make sure our stay was everything it could be. Her food was wonderful as well. I even tried the blood pudding and it was rather tasty. Mairead was a very generous host and I would highly recommend her B&B over anyone else's. Her kind and helpful manner is something to be commended in this day and time. Our first visit to Ireland will be remembered fondly and it is because of people like her. Thank you Mairead!! Your two friends from Missouri.
