Location is beautiful!

We stayed three very uncomfortable nights at La Condesa. The location and physical plant is beautiful, though quite tumble-down. The place, however, was much like visiting The Twilight Zone. We were the only hotel guests in an enormous facility. There's no on-site manager or staff, so we were completely alone at the hotel every night and most of each day. Strange! There is no heat in the rooms and the hot water was broken for our entire stay. This place is a bad joke. Run away!

The views are spectacular, and the buildings are beautiful and historic. The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained. The breakfast was good and the staff kind.

The room was dusty and not well-cleaned. I made a reservation weeks in advance but the room had unfinished painting on the walls. The hotel is not living up to its potential. With a good cleaning and polishing and greater attention to detail, the place would be a true gem.

The staff were very very kind and polite. The food was great in every aspect. One of the best things of La Condesa were the view and the rustic facilities. Totally recommended.

La Condesa was incredibly beautiful. However, there was a strange smell in the bathroom that never went away. Nothing critical really, but something that can improve.

Very clean , well maintained historical building. Friendly staff and good food served there.

The breakfast was amazing! The hacienda was gorgeous and the host was very kind. The rooms were beautiful, warm, welcoming and clean though, making it a perfect spot for a couple exploring rural Ecuador and Incan ruins.

There was almost no WiFi and limited wars to travel to the Incan Trail sites other than hiking up the road and hitching a ride with the bus. Additionally, the restaurant that was part of the goatee is was closed which we did not expect and there were limited other options.
