A fantastic family alltogether which makes you feel at home. If we arrived to India in New Delhi and later went to Jaipur, we only had the feeling to really enter India with the Jangid Family. Rajesh and his son Tushar didn't spare a minute to show us the rural life style of Shekhawati, to open the doors of the most beautiful havelis and hidden sites in the area. The cooking classes in the evening where just the "cherry on the top" granting a glimpse at the succulent indian cuisine with all the spices and flavours. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a inside view of India !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser äußerst gastfreundlichen, authentischen Pension. Die gesamte Famile hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben und länger geblieben sind, als wir vorhatten. Die Pension ist ruhig gelegen, der Ortskern mit Bazar und wunderschönen Havelis fußlāufig zu erkunden. Der Gastgeber Rajesh hat uns tolle Ausflugstipps und Informationen gegeben, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Dass wir wieder abreisen mussten.

This was a superb place to stay, the room was colourful without being over the top and very comfortable to be in especially on exceedingly hot afternoons. The freshly cooked meals were delicious and worth the stay alone. The best part was Rajesh who welcomed me and took me on a walking tour through Nawalgarh and then to a small nearby town in his jeep. He also took me to the best street food I ever had. I really enjoyed his passion and humour and knowledge. And, his collection of Royal Enfield's! DON'T STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!

Rajesh and his family welcomed us in their beautiful house. the experience has been very nice. we really enjoyed taking time with the family and sharing about our life. we took a cooking class and breakfast: all homemade with heart ! we highly recommend Tourist pension !

An incredible place, Rajesh and his family were wonderful hosts - friendly, engaging and helpful with recommendations (Rajesh even drove me to a nearby village he was visiting to let me look around). The homestay was wonderfully clean, and made for a great base to explore Nawalgarh. Vegetarian meal options are available - just be sure to give the family advance notice if you want to eat with them for a particular meal, as they’ll start the cooking a few hours in advance.

Nawalgarh feels very much off the beaten-track (though only ~2h from Jaipur); Rajesh is the perfect guide to explore the surrounding countryside and havelis with. Rooms spotless and nicely decorated, and delicious food cooked by his wife Salah (whose cookery class was also fun!).

The service. Rajesh ji curates experiences and has a knack for customising things to suit you. Plus the food is home made and awesome. What's not to like!

There is no heater in the room. In winter with a small child sometimes felt like that would have been good to have.

The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. As We found the bed too small for two people, I was offered a bed in another room which was very thoughtful of the management. Thank you. The establishment was clean. The ceilings were nicely decorated with mosquito protection on the windows. Organic food was served and dinner orders were take by 5pm.

The double bed was small. The basic bathroom and plumbing could be improved. Location was also an issue for us.
