Dorms have a lock opened by a rfid card. If you go to the toilet at night and forget your key, you get locked out of your dorm... And as the reception is on the other side of the street, it's not a fun situation to be in. A code would make more sense.

Friendly helpfull staff that draw a map of possible hikes in Theth and for the price the standard is pretty ok. it was really around the corner to the nicest street in town with a lot of coffee shops and gelaterias. Nice yard to hang out in.

The bathroom wasn’t super fresh and the breakfast wasn’t the best.

booking.com will say the payment will be processed through your registered card, upon arrival to the hotel we were adviced we'll need to pay when we check out. of course this is absolutely fine, but what the staff failed to tell us was that you can only pay by cash... when checking out we had made sure to get rid of all of our LEK as we were moving onto the next country. this resulted in running around trying to find a cash point that worked (5th one I tried finally did) and us almost missing our only bus of the day to our next destination. so make sure you haven't used up all your LEK or euros before you check out!! you can also hear absolutely everything through the walls!!

Silver was very nice and the room was super cool

Staff were really helpful. The beds were comfortable, didn't creek and there were extra blankets if you needed them. The rooms are in a different building across the street to the bar/common area which mean it was much more quite than if it had been above.

My bed lamp didn't work.

It is loud at night as it’s on the Main Street (it’s quiet by midnight though) The bikes to rent are cheap but they are very uncomfortable. Fine for short journeys but 17 miles was too far

The staff was very nice and helpful, had game night! There is laundry and nice kitchen! The hostel is very well located. The breakfast was sooooo good, full of options, the best I’ve ever seen in hostels, and has free coffee all day! Really liked staying there and wish could stay longer

The rooms are not so modern, the beds are a little old, there is no curtain in the beds, but even though wasn’t a problem to sleep!

Good for one night stay with friends. Located in city centre.

Beds was uncomfortable. The toilet flowed on to the floor.

The staff werre very helpful, the location is super convenient, having the ability to leave our car and go to the mountains for a few days was great. They booked a bus for us to go to Theth and that helped a lot.

This can't be helped by the hostel, because they did their best to reduce noise from guests and events, but the area is a bit noisy.

lovely staff and and great community vibe. the hostel also offered €2 dinner. they helped us plan or June through Valbona and Theth ans organized the transport and guest houses for us.

the beds weren't the comfiest and were very creaky so anytime someone moved it made noise. but everything else was fine.

The hostal is right in the city center and it has a great bacpacker's vibe!We really enjoyed the evening we arrived, they served dinner full of local specialities and it was very tasty. Also we appreciate we could have left our baggage there while travelling into the mountains. And our big thanks is to the hostel staff. They really make you feel welcomed and they help you with anyting you need.

A great place to meet other solo travelers and also plan the hikes up north with friendly staff who take away the pain of organising!

Staff were amazing. Made the coordination to go hike in Valbona seamless with tickets and transport. Bikes for rent, laundry available, modest breakfast in the morning. €1 beer and free raki, kareoke night...we had too much fun actually. Location is close to bus drop if coming in from Tirana.

Overall, kinda perfect little hostel.

This place is the best! Staff super friendly and knowledgeable,, dorms good value, bike rental and help with the mountain hikes and there is a great atmosphere. I wish I stayed in Shkoder for a little longer the city and hostel have a great vibe if you are looking to chill ansy meet fellow travellers.

The bar is so tempting you end up hungover for your early morning bus into the mountains.

Stuff was amazing, really helpful. They made a phone call and booked my bus so I will have space on my bus. when I was trying to catch a bus, the bus was late and I asked them to check on them. They called the bus company and assured me I'm good.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We were made to feel at home from the moment we walked in the hostel. The location is perfect for exploring the town by foot or bike. We didn't arrange our Theth-Valbone hike through the hostel, but were grateful they helped us get van pickup for the hike and offered bag storage. Highly recommend.

Good atmosphere and helpful personal who will help you with your day trips or anything you might need. Nice place to meet other travelers as well.

Very helpful in booking Koman, Valbonne etc. Cheap bike hire, and cheap bar. Close to the nicer area of Shkoder
