The pool was great for my mokos.
The woman in the room next to us was smoking and drinking alcohol while watching her son in the pool.

Location is great , handy to everything.
We have stayed here many times, this time however there was a very large group staying at the same time who were very very noisy into the night and very early before 6am , management should have told them to keep the noise down, they had many visitors joining this group and the noise was very very loud!!Other people staying would have had a very disturbed sleep as we did!

Ease of booking last minute. Good to see that although old - the unit has been reconditioned. Nice tables, well equipped kitchen.
Walking through the units to get to the office. Booked because of the spa bath but it had cracks in it so didn’t use.

For the price it was fine..nothing flash and there was an issue with the room we booked being unavailable but the lady was lovely and super helpful in sorting something for us.
Rooms very very basic. Not even a kitchen sink so kettle had to be filled in the bathroom and no bench or anywhere to put or make breakfast.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating, our family booked most of the rooms for the weekend and they were absolutely amazing hosts, comfortable and cosy room for a couple ❤️
We booked a spa room tried the spa but it didn't work however that didn't ruin our overall experience we were still happy with our stay 😊

The Cortez is Family friendly! We went with 20+ whaanau to celebrate a graduation and we all loved our stay! It was intimate, private and safe for our children! Thank you to Cortez team! We will definitely be back

it’s a pretty old place that seems to be coming apart at some of the seams. beds were not comfortable & condensation in the room was heavy.

Location is great, price is great and in summer would be perfect as there is a swimming pool on the property.
Hosts were very friendly.
Rooms are quite run down and could do with a do up but then of course prices go up so its a catch 22.
Beds were ok but need replacing as could feel springs in the mattress. Still comfortable but getting to that stage of needing replacement.
