A really excellent find! South House is a stylish and comfortable place to stay with fabulous facilities. We loved being so close to the city centre, just 5 minutes walk and the parking was a great bonus.

The house is well furnished and has pretty much everything you need on holiday. The owners popped around after a couple of days to introduce themselves and check we were happy with everything during our stay, which we thought was lovely thing to do.

Parking was tight, so this was a bit of a pain but this was explained in advance and there is the ability to park on the road with a permit, provided by the owners, within walking distance. By means of reference for others, I have an E Class Mercedes and still managed to get it in with manoeuvring back and forth! I eventually found it better to reverse in.

Located near to the centre. Excellent living space. Good heating in the house. Parking for 2 cars. Owners very responsive to our requests.

The house is located next to a car park which was very noisy on the Saturday night. Road noise starts early on weekday mornings.

We loved the layout downstairs which provides an excellent relaxing & dining area. The location is great for the shops, restaurants & sights which are just 5 minutes walk away. This meant we didn’t need our cars at all during our stay. There's a car space alongside the house & a parking permit for on street parking.

The road is noisy which can be a problem at night when the windows are open. There is no storage in one of the bedrooms.

Well equipped house with plenty of bedroom, bathroom and living space for four of us (two couples) - and the location is super - it’s literally 10 mins walk away from the city attractions, restaurants and shopping. We ate dinner and breakfast in the house and the kitchen was well equipped and good size dining table and chairs. The owners popped by to see how we were and check we had everything we needed 👍

No real complaints - only that the sofas were quite low (difficult for people with mobility issues) and the road outside is very busy with cars and people until quite late - but we were in the city so couldn’t really expect anything else!

Loved that it was quirky and modern, everything you need in the kitchen and location was very good.

No bathroom or toilet on the top floor. Love the spiral staircase but not in the middle of the night when you have to go to the bathroom. Parking was also an issue. Very tight parking next to the house and parking permit in next street. I can understand this though being in the middle of the city.

Everything. The location is great, the house has everything we needed and it was very clean.

Having to really nit pick but the sofas could be more comfortable. They're a little flat, probably just a bit old.
