Michel couldn’t have been friendlier. Very helpful and happy to take the time to chat and suggest places to go. Breakfast was fantastic Very relaxed atmosphere. It’s not the fanciest of hotels but then it doesn’t claim to be a 5 star. Had a great stay and if we go back to York again we’d be highly likely to stay there again.

Our room was quite noisy due to the traffic outside. We’d asked for a room at the front of the hotel and the weather was exceptionally hot though so we had the windows open to cool the room down. I’m sure it would be quiet with the windows closed. It didn’t spoil our stay anyway.

The location of this Inn is superb for visiting central York and free parking was a great added bonus. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. We were given a family room which had a bath and shower (lovely to have a bath after a long day sightseeing). The room was situated at the front of the Inn so we could hear the traffic but it was not excessive and certainly didn't keep us awake. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, telling us lots of useful information about things we could do in York. The hosts were extremely attentive at breakfast making sure we were satisfied which I can say we were - the main breakfast was cooked perfectly to order, there was a lovely choice, so beautifully presented and it was delicious every morning.

There was nothing we didn't like however a tip would be to pre book the times of your breakfasts for the duration of your stay when you arrive as the early time slots fill up quickly. We would have liked an earlier breakfast on our departure day but unfortunately it wasn't possible.

Plenty of room. The host Michil is a gem. Always cherry, nothing was a bother. Great breakfast, there is a menu or he'll make something to order within what he has. Absolutely wonderful. Close to one of the gates with a few eating places.

Nothing really. The stairs to the top room were steep but it is a stretch to say that this was a problem.

Amazing host, beautiful B+B, we arrived at 11am and our room was ready. Plus free parking. Stayed in room 1, the room was very cosy, warm, perfect!. Bed was super comfy. The breakfast was delicious!. The owners were amazing! Friendly. We will definitely be back!

Great location to walk down to the centre.

Was met by the lady on arrival who showed us around then went on to tell us it was a quiet bar and if no one was in come 8 o clock she locked up. We had a nice day in York and returned to the inn at 8,30 the owners were sat at the bar and there was 3 people sitting at the window with drinks. We asked for a drink and was met with a silence followed by ok but you will have to take it to bed, it was 8,30 at night if we wanted to stay in bed and breakfast we would have booked bed and breakfast this is supposed be a inn.

Quan vam arribar al matí, l'habitació ja estava llesta i ens van deixar fer el check in abans. El personal va ser molt amable i amigable, l'habitació era preciosa, còmode i tot estava molt net. L'allotjament estava molt ben localitzat, a prop del centre de York. Ens va agradar tenir ràdio a l'habitació, la quantitat d'amenities al bany (bastonets de les orelles, discos desmaquillants, sabons, gorro de dutxa, etc) i les xocolatines per poder acompanyar el te :)

La veritat que res. Ho vam trobar tot molt bé i va super les nostres expectatives!
