We loved Koaxa - especially as there was no one else staying! It was very rustic but comfortable.

This was our 3rd stay in Kaoxa. It’s become our happy place and we wish we had stayed longer. Virginia and Jabulani are most helpful and it’s wonderful to know they are around if ever needed. Please don’t change a thing, it’s rustic, it’s magic, it’s the bush!

The location was lovely, the dining room was great and the staff were great.

The host was arrogant and dismissive - apparently needs 24hours to acknowledge a booking even though it was paid for immediately and I had confirmation of this. The matress was rock hard, I might as well have not had one. The taps in the bathroom were leaking and kept me awake all night. The pool was filthy (I do have an eco pool at home ...) The fridges were also filthy.

beautiful location, very nice to hear the animals roam around your tent at night. Braai was great
