It was the most amazing stay we have had in Italy so far. Everything was incredible from the check in process, to the beautifully art deco styled apartment (my absolute dream place) and I booked it for my birthday because I wanted something different and special. The facilities in the house is SO WELL thought of. The hosts had a high chair. baby cot (with all the baby blankets needed), the kitchen was AMAZING and we had a bottle of wine, fresh fruit and divine melt in your mouth biscuits on arrival. We sat on the balcony most nights and drank wine. Then we just walked up to the plaza for dinner and exploring. I loved staying in Martina Franca. When we first looked at booking in the region- we originally looked at Arebebello (as this is the most common and 'more touristy thing to do' but I am so glad we didn't stay there and stayed in Martina Franca. An absolute hidden gem and so much to explore and delicious food in the area, Parking in the plaza (less than 50m) away was super easy and we got a free park spot everytime. Would 10000000%%%%% come back here. Over and over again. Thank you Martino, what a special place with so much history.

Martino is extremely kind and helpful. The apartment is a huge real palazzo, great location.

If you want to experience a different era and lifestyle, this is the place for you. The kitchen and bath are updated but the salon and bedrooms have antique furnishings, cement tile floors, double wood shutters that block out all the street noise and light and ultra high ceilings. A washer and dryer and fully equipped kitchen are handy. Lucia is an excellent, warm host who provided breakfast things and a Prosecco. We were able to park right behind the house. There is a big, busy market day of both produce and clothes on Wednesday mornings. We had a marvelous meal at Mehta, a few blocks away.
