no WiFi at all

Our hostess was very welcoming and helped out with ice and bandages for a sprained ankle late at night. We stayed in an apartment at the rear of the property which was private and had a peaceful outlook. Breakfast was good and parking was easy. While it is a couple of minutes drive from the old town it is very easy to find a parking spot a few minutes walk from the old town so it provides the best of both worlds with a sense of being in the country while still close to the action.

Sylvia the host is very nice, sweet, charming and very hospitable. She was very attentive, and she treated us on our last day at breakfast to a very large and generous spread of several Italian specialties, french toast, salad, fruit and a decadent chocolate cake. The accommodation is in a traditional trullo dating back to Sylvia's grandmother overlooking a large courtyard with a splendid view of nearby locorotondo. We really enjoyed our stay in Sylvia's trullo, and were touched by her kindness, hospitality and generosity.

The location of Il Giardino del Melograno is perfect (if you travel by car). It is quiet, with beautiful garden and chairs to sit outside the room. The room very clean with spatious bathroom. The host (Silvia) very kind, friendly and helpfull. First morning we had a real italian breakfast (different sweet food) and the second morning breakfast with the typical local products (cheese and capocollo and salami), both were good, but we preferred the second. Everything was great, also the dog and the coolest cat Simba :) I definitelly recommend the place.

Nothing not to like.

Silvia was an absolute fantastic host! We had the best breakfast (it was huge) and especially all the local products and her baked eggs were fantastic! The room is great, clean and spacious and the garden was great for completely relaxing and enjoying the great view on Locorotondo. The location is perfect for exploring Martina Franca and there is more than enough space for a car. All in all; next time we will be back!!

We like the preparations &we like so much the croissants and the cake.

The property is situated just at the outskirts of the historical center and within walkable distance. As such, it gives you a good mix of tranquility and convenience. It is also isn’t too far from intercity roads which means you need not carve a path through the crowded streets in Town if you need to drive out to other towns. The property is also huge with ample (really big) rooms, clean and numerous amenities that will make your stay as comfortable as you can imagine. Bathroom facilities are also TOP notch in terms of cleanliness! The people and animals you meet are just as delightful. I met the host and her family who were exceptionally warm and compromising! Their dog and also cat were fun to play with too. I particular enjoy the breakfast spread every morning which are mostly prepared by the host Silvia. Ask for the sponge cake which Silvia bakes herself the night before - I insisted to have one very morning! Here, you will not just be a guest in a B&B, you will feel like you are part of the family during your stay there. It didn’t feel like a transaction between the landlord and a traveller. Instead, Silvia invites you to her home and goes above and beyond to make your stay an experience and not just a pit stop for your luggage and for rest.

It is with regret I only managed to stay three nights.

We had a wonderful stay wit Silvia, who was always available and extremely thoughtful. We even got breakfast in bed, with a surprise birthday cake! The breakfast was very nice and, for Italian standards, quite extensive. We also appreciated the flexible breakfast and check-in time!

The bed was big and OK, but I've slept more comfortable.
