we were given a room on the ground floor facing at the pool and restaurant area . it was very noisy at night

Noisy at night , large group of people drinking and talking loudly by the pool till gone 3 in the morning. Not the first time I've stayed here and have similar sleepless nights . Staff do not seem to do anything about it. They just provide you with ear plugs which don't make a difference. I would avoid at weekends if you need to sleep

Room was small and dark. There was no airflow in the room.

The hotel was very clean, and the design was nice. The food was also good.

We booked a suite (and paid the full price for a suite), which was described as having a balcony. We did not get a suite. In fact, the room we got didn't even have windows. When we complained and asked why we didnt get a suite with a balcony (or windows) he said "it all depends on availability, the rooms with balcony are occupied". Absolute disgrace. We were ensured that the manager would get in touch with us via email. I should have known that would never happen. I found a lot of the staff very rude.

couldn’t check in at 2 am even though they said 24. h check in. the doors were locked and I knocked numerous times with no response. I had to wander around (as a solo female new to the city) to find alternative accomodation for that night. I did not get a refund for the first night.

The staff was amazing and so acomodating, the pool area is fantastic.

the rooms all face a center court with pool and restaurant which seems nice but the noise from the restaurant vibrates through the rooms and it doesn’t stop until very late. t

Restaurant food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and beautiful by centering the pool area, the staff were all so kind

the design of the hotel as a whole is great. I was concerned that the noise from the bar would be a problem but it didn’t run too late. The staff are generally great, knowledgeable and helpful.

When we failed to tip (it was a coffee and a cake) the waiter came back and asked us to add a tip!!

I didn’t like how the receptionist talk to us very bad service.

the breakfast - times were too late. incorrect order was taken charged for water which I didn’t ask for. was not told only coffee and fruit was included in the breakfast. also saw online there was a gym which there wasn’t

poor maintenance, dirty bed linen, dirty toilet, and overall dirty. No shower gel in the room for two people, quite dark rooms. we changed room because the one we got was quite dirty, the second was cleaner but had no toilet roll in the toilet and one of the taps in the shower didn’t work. We had to call engineering, it was taking too long, we had to move to another room just to have shower. Service recovery was inexistent, at breakfast after all these events they wanted to charge us extra for a natural juice. Terribly disappointing. When I asked to talk to the manager I was told he wasn’t available and I should report my claim to booking.com. An eventful stay I would say.

amazing brutalist boutique hotel in great location. lovely small pool. great restaurant and breakfast. staff and friendly and helpful. took advantage of the hotel bicycles to ride around the city on Sunday when the main roads are closed to traffic.

pick your room carefully - some are dark and a bit prison-like, whereas those with terraces have more light. pity the bar couldn’t manage an expresso martini and didn’t know what a caipirinha was. note - there’s no gym at the hotel.
