Friendly hosts, lovely , newly renovated bungalow with everything you need. Very warm and comfortable. Plenty of room.

A lovely little accommodation with, in my humble opinion, the most powerful shower I ever had :D There is a pond, you have your own terrace and a car park in front and nothing is too much for John. We’d love to stay here again next time!

Tight parking spaces

We stayed in The Retreat and it was perfect for a short stay. They have used the space extremely well, everything you would need including a cooker, and a little courtyard to sit in. They had put a good information folder together too. I would recommend here.

location was great, ideal for a taxi to Chapel Down Vineyard. It was self catering but biscuits , milk , tea and coffee were provided.Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

TV very small but we were hardly in so didn’t really matter.

very cosy and spotless clean place to stay in. modernly equipped and has got all the necessary bits and bobs. Owner is very friendly and helpful, so we felt very welcomed and well looked after. Area is very peaceful and has got a nice pond with fish. Definitely recommend it.

Spacious accommodation, spotlessly clean and attractive décor. Loved the patio doors onto a grass area by ornamental pond and the excellent shower. Host very welcoming. Set back from road. Nice Pub next door.

Road had no footpath and a little busy to walk along.

It had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. I give it 5*++ as a rating.

This was our 2nd stay at Woodies. This time we stayed in the Pond View apartment which was absolutely wonderful. John and Jackie are such warm and lovely hosts and we will be returning again soon.
