So much room!! really clean, two toilets! Amazing hot tub with pretty lights!! Amazing views! Everything was just perfect

the hottub is the unique selling point of this accommodation. Amazing experience to enjoy a cold beer in this remote and wild environment.

Beautiful remote location. Was able to see the aurora 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Hot tub under the stars with auroras was a highlight. Secluded and quiet location.

Additional bathroom amenities would be nice. Had a family of 5 and we were short on towels. No shampoo, only soap was available.

Very spacious house. After a long day of driving and sightseeing this place was heaven. The jacuzzi with the amazing views took away all the tiredness. Many horses around in the farms nearby. The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed. We will be definitely coming back here again. Highly recommended!

Nothing to complain about. It was all good!

- Privacy - your own house "in the middle of nowhere" (and some sheep and horses nearby). - A lot of space - Fully equipped kitchen - Hot tub - Nice terrace

-The fridge makes quite a loud buzzing noise which ruined the atmosphere a bit as it was heard in the dining room and living room. - You have to clean everything after yourself, including vacuuming the floors (although we couldn't do it because the vacuum wasn't there). I think cleaning should be included and the price could be higher because of that. Customers having to do the cleaning is a first for me.

Wonderful place in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by horses, land and sea. Very helpful owner, the house is fully equipped with everything and is very clean as well. Highly recommended.

Too bad we only stayed one night.

The house is exactly as in the pictures, spotless clean and I loved having dinner on the patio with the sunset (the BBQ is great!)

There is not a proper double bed in any of the rooms, I was eager to use the washing machine but there was almost no soap left (I had to do with the little I found), the list of house rules hanging at the entrance does not make you feel at home. I am aware it is necessary to set rules but the way in which they are communicated really makes the difference

Beautiful location by the water in the middle of nowhere - very peaceful and relaxing

Nice location close to a waterfall, lots of birdlife and wildflowers in the adjacent meadows and convenient for local hikes. Birding trail at Rekholar recommended. Spacious lounge and bedrooms, good kitchen facilities and friendly host.

We used two of the four bedrooms. Another family had the other rooms. They kept strange hours so we were disturbed in the middle of the night. At least it meant the kitchen and single bathroom was free but it is why we have rated it lower than otherwise.

Nice location , well equipped,WiFi good

The only reason why I booked the accommodation was the hottub. When we arrived after 1.5 hours of driving from Reykjavik the hottub was empty. The owner told me it’s useable if u stay three nights or longer. The cottage was not cleaned up. So we made the bed by ourself. 1 hour after arriving a woman stand in the floor and told us she will clean up.... we checked in at 15.15 . Check in time was from 15 to 22pm. In the floor u can find the house rules: every 30 minutes late checkout costs 50€. So I was disappointed because the first photo on booking is showing the hottub, but we couldn’t use it

Very comfortable, cozy and well equipped place

We met the mother of the owner there and she was very friendly and offered us some eggs from her produce, which was great. She made a great effort to host us. The place itself is a bit isolated, 30 min from decent supermarket, but we didn't mind, it can be a plus. Quiet, right on the sea, very good for a noisy family like us.

The property is not modern or super well maintained, it is not very new or in excellent condition relative to all other places we stayed at in Iceland. But still very good value. For example the beds are not the most comfortable and there is no double bed for adults, only for kids and twin beds for adults. We still think it's a great value.
