Marcelo is an absolutely wonderful host. This booking was made a few years ago but due to covid we couldn’t get to enjoy the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for Marcelo and we were really pleased that we got to stay at Catell Bohio. From the welcome and the generous cake, to the beautiful terrace and lovely pool. Castell Bogio was everything we could have wanted. Thank you Marcelo!

The host, Marcelo, was simply fantastic and looked after myself and the family. The villa is in a gated and secure space with a gorgeous terrace and fantastic pool. The views from the outside eating area and the living room where stunning. Great kitchen with cooker, coffee machine, fridge freezer, kettle, dishwasher, glasses, plates and cutlery Outside has a fabulous bbq that Marcelo set up a few times on our trip. There is a washing machine / laundry room on ground floor which was perfect with a toddler. Great experience and cannot wait until we go back.

Excellent hosts, Marcelo couldn't have been more welcoming, kind and helpful. The grounds are lovely and although the hosts live on site we rarely saw them. Fabulous, enormous roof terrace with magnificent views towards Palma, the mountains and sea and quality furniture. Comfortable beds with proper duvets (not scratchy blankets!) Wood bbq set up by Marcelo. Good washing machine. Good shower, lots of towels provided. Great swimming pool (although a little cold in Feb!) Spacious property. Easy to find and minutes from beach, 15mins from airport, 20mins from Palma driving. In bus route too.

Only thing is something stupid and small... soap in bathroom and kitchen and washing up liquid for when people arrive could be provided. But it's so minor!!

The most beautiful and peaceful place in Mallorca! Near Palma, but away from the noise of the big city! A place where you can feel the true spirit of the island - the characteristic Spanish architecture, the magnificent garden with palm trees and exotic flowers, the beautiful view, the cool breeze in the evening and, above all, the exceptional discretion, warmth and courtesy of the owners! -good size living room with a nice view of the distant bay/city/mountains -bbq area/terrace -interesting villa design -caring host -location near Palma -plenty of towels

-SHARED property - misleading listing/description (half of the villa is occupied by the host and his family) -the inside-living space is much smaller than expected (maybe 100m2 total + very large roof-top terrace) -wifi connection is weak or no connection on the terrace -rather small and dark kitchen -no bathtub (some pictures in this listing are not accurate) -the entrance gate and driveway are very narrow and tricky to maneuver -two out of three bedrooms are super small -very small size TV in the living room only -missing basic essentials (bodywash, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher tablets or soap..) -very cold water in swimming pool (not heated) -nasty toilet smell in master bedroom (open toilet - no doors) -squeaking bed in master bedroom (bed is old and small for a master bedroom) -low quality bedding -location (basically in the middle of nowhere - you must have a car to get around)
