Managed by the most amazing family. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Very close to the surf waves. Alot of people slept well without AC but since the Nights can get very warm, I changed to an AC room,

The wifi was limited and sometimes it could only be accessed out on the balcony. It didnt matter much though since Midigama has many other things to offer than sitting inside with the phone.

The family that own and run this accommodation were very friendly and helpful, there was always someone around to come and help any time of day. Special shout-out to who we assumed was the grandpa of the family who was very sweet and we nicknamed ‘smiley grandad’ as we was so friendly. The location of the property in-front of lazy left and right was perfect for surfing and easily checking conditions through the day. We loved it!

This is no fault of the property owners, at all as we really enjoyed our stay and for the most part it was very quiet and easy to sleep. The only thing we would warn about is that there is a party that goes on next door on a Tuesday until 6am, which is great if you want to party, but otherwise would recommend bringing some ear plugs!

The family are friendly, though there's not that much interaction unless you need something, and can be hard to find. But not a criticism, more an observation.

perfect location right in front lazy left and lazy right, about 700 meters from main restaurants. super friendly staff will help you with anything, we stayed there for about three weeks and had a very good time🤙

The location is perfect, espacially if you're here to surf, you can check the swell from the guesthouse.

My initial 1 week stay at Hot Tuna turned into nearly 3 weeks! The family were so helpful and accommodating. Location is directly across from Lazy left and right surf spot with so much only walking distance or a short tuktuk ride away. They also helped me organise an airport transfer and there was no issue that I arrived at the property at 2am. The breakfast and food they offer is great and the sea view area is a wonderful spot to relax and read a book.

Everything was great! If you are sensitive to noise, the trains can be quite loud, but this never bothered me.

amazing place for surfers. near lazy right and lazy left and other spots 10 minutes walk. friendly staff. you should know that there is a railway nearby, noise comes from it. if this is a problem for you, then take ear plugs or surf more to sleep soundly :) the railroad runs through the entire coast. so anywhere you hear the train. take it as part of amazing sri lanka
