Super rooftop ambiance surf camp

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, sehr schön eingerichtete, saubere Zimmer, tolle Lage, leckeres Essen

Super Laden, wenn man Surfen möchte. Top Lage zum Surfstrand, alle nötige Infrastruktur vor Ort. Die Surflesson war sehr gut. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte ein gemütliches Bett, die Veranda vor dem Zimmer mit Blick auf die Wellen sehr schön gestaltet. Highlight auch das Frühstück und Essen und Cocktails auf der Dachterrasse allgemein.

Die Kommunikation bzgl. allem allem, das nichts mit Surfen zu tun hat (z.B. Whale Watching) könnte besser sein. Hier herrscht eine leichte Surfer-Arroganz, da hatten wir woanders schon deutlich mehr Hilfsangebot.

Loved everything about the place - rooms have just enough of what you need, cafe serves great food and has great service and vibe, location is perfect.

Sehr schöne Einrichtung und guter Standort. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Rooftopbar bietet super Essen und Drinks sowie eine tolle Aussicht. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Lucky's Surf Camp is a great option if you're looking for a cool place to stay in Weligama, whether you're into surfing or not. Rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable, the beach is 1 min away by foot and the staff is very nice and friendly. They arranged for us a transport back to the airport. The highlight: their on-site restaurant located on the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a wide range of delicious meals at any time of the day with a direct view on the bay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Luckys surf camp; the rooms were clean and spacious and especially the Terrasse was comfy. The location is great, you’re very close to the beach but it’s still very relaxing. Breakfast was truly amazing and in general we loved the rooftop cafe where you can also have nice drinks and dinner. For breakfast they give you a variety of options including avocado toasts and smoothie bowls, which were amazing. The staff was also nice and helpful. Overall, we had a great time there and would recommend.

The room was spacious, clean and decorated nicely. I’d really recommend staying here, all the staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming! I will certainly be returning to luckys surf camp when I visit Sri Lanka again. The rooftop cafe has great views and food also! There are optional surf lessons for a fee of course which I used twice, the surf instructor Mendis was great!

Small bit noisy however with earplugs I slept very well each night!

The location was great as the beach was literally 20m away. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious ( we had avocado toast & mushrooms on sour dough bread), and you get stunning view of the beach from the restaurant.

In the night the music from the restaurant above can be pretty loud, and it tends to get noisy in the area since the main road is also closeby. If you plan on having an early night I would suggest that you take earplugs just in case.

Lucky’s was great! We were only there for one night, but we really loved the hotel. The team there were super helpful and really lovely people. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. Next time we come to Sri Lanka we’ll be staying here for longer.

Sehr saubere, gepflegte Anlage mit sensationeller Rooftopbar, bequemen Betten und großem renoviertem Bad. Freundliches Team, Surflehrer und Boards direkt im Haus und 1 min zum sauberen Strand. Dusche und Fussdusche direkt unten beim reinkommen. Sehr durchdachtes Konzept. Danke!

La zona es perfecta. A diez minutos del centro andando (el centro es una calle con tiendas). Primera línea de mar (a 50 metros esta la playa) tiene unas vistas increíbles, y el personal fue increíbles. Super simpáticos, nos ayudaron en todo. La comida excepcional. Estilo brunch, con opciones para todos los gustos y calidad precio extraordinario. Ademas esta cerca de otros hoteles de surfers y el ambiente es top. Sin duda, repetiria aquí si vuelvo.

The location is THE best! It's walking distance from the surf beaches, has an amazing view from the clean rooms/restaurant. Aaahh the food is incredible too! We'd our best meal in Sri Lanka. Amazing room and great roof bar

The location was perfect. The roof top bar had the best view and the atmosphere was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Saff was nice, very helpful and attentive for whatever you need. The wifi could be better.

Wifi signal should be stronger especially if you are digital nomad.

Lucky and his team were always approachable and super friendly. Just a few steps from the beach which makes it perfect for serving. Breakfast with different choices at the rooftop is amazing. rooftop bar called after surf has multiple options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and an incredible view.

The staff was super friendly, they provided advice on where to surf, where to go for dinner, other places to visit, etc. The room and the common areas where very clean. The view from the rooftop it's just amazing. A surfing spot is just 2 min walking from the accommodation and you can rent boards at the accommodation also, so that's very easy and convenient. Yasas was very welcoming and gave us a lot of advice. Thank you Yasas!

It was a perfect stay, very welcoming and nice guys, always ready to help, amazing breakfast, and also best tom yum and tuna steaks after 12 p.m.! We'll definitely miss this place 🙂

we stayed at Luckys surf camp last year. So we came back with friends. we really like that place and the whole stuff is like a family. We had so much fun again. the new rooftopbar have such amazing food. We will come back for sure.
