I liked the location in the corner of the market square. Very central and easy access to shops, pubs, restaurants. Bonus was the actual market on Saturday.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Cooked to order which I like. Evening meal was not too shabby either. Recommend the Sea Bass.
All in all enjoyed our stay.
Our room was at the front overlooking the market square, which was great until 04:00 Saturday morning when the vendors started putting up stalls for the "Saturday Market". You are warned about the Friday/Saturday night disco in the booking info so we were expecting some noise, just louder than we anticipated.

Great design in the rooms downstairs bar was lovely, location and parking a bonus as very central. Staff were welcoming, friendly and available for any assistance

The stairs were creaky and I could hear other guests coming up and down

The room was far better than expected the staff were extremely curious and went out of their way to help. We did not have breakfast as we were meeting family early. It was our second visit to the hotel in the last 4 months and we will definitely return.
It is ideally situated in the centre of the town and served our purpose which was to catch up with family and friends.

We liked everything about the hotel, from how it looked on the outside and then the inside too! Perfect location being right in the middle to the market square and everything was only a walk away ☺️

The room was very comfortable and a great location, this is the 3rd time i have stayed in the venue and the staff were as friendly as on previous visits
on previous occasions on my stays there i could add food and drinks to my final bill, this is no longer the an option, although i did notice the drinks price had increased significantly compare to outlets close by

Amazing hotel, great bar and restaurant and such lovely staff!! Such comfy and luxurious rooms, a bargain for what you get 100% reccomend!

Lovely pub with a large room, free parking behind the pub, friendly staff, good food and lots of central heating!
It's an old building so you can hear creaking floors above you and people in corridor outside.

We had a fantastic time- staff were brilliant couldn’t do enough for us! Such a good time we have booked for next year!

They had beautiful rooms, the ones with bathtubs are
even more amazing!

Fine room with all faciilties, and excellent breakfast (and dinner). Car park for guests adjacent at back
Fire doors - it would have been better if they could be electric push-button opened. Plus the hotel staff, altlough civil, dodn't seem tp give a toss about my suggestion that this should be recommended.

Good food
Decor in the bedroom looked scruffy - at odds with the modern bath in the bedroom.
Bedside lighting was poor - difficult to read in bed. Not a unique experience however.
