Easy distance to everything and cheap

they charge you for water refills, the property is very dark and quite gloomy, wifi is very poor and there is no hot water in the showers. I couldn’t recommend.

clean bathrooms and showers. amazing staff and bartenders. great drinks and food. location is right next to lots of places to eat. fun atmosphere.

someone stole my shirt off the drying racks, which are exposed to all guests. no cameras on drying racks in hallways.,

fantastic hostel - would recommend

This place was the cleanest hostel i have been to in the Philippines. They clean several times a day the bathrooms, the showers and the dorms. They even have hot showers. The staff is really friendly as well. Thumbs up for the good work.

we slept in the dorms, everybody had his own space which was great. hot water in the shower (and not with the toilet) great vibe very nice stuff

we were there for a week and nobody changed or asked to change our sheets (we didn’t ask so maybe it’s possible) lots of spiders and mosquitoes in the shower and toilets

The place is super well located right next to the square with all the local restaurants and super close to the beach. It is also one of the most affordable around the island. The staff was very very nice. And the best part was that the room is sound proof, they have karaoke in the hostel bar but you can not hear a thing from inside the room.

It just could be cleaner, the rooms are not bad but the bathrooms should be cleaned better and more often since there is soo much people sharing them. Wish they fixed the door so it's not so noisy everytime someone opens it.

Good bed bunks in the dorm with curtains, room and showers were cleaned several times a day, helpfull personnel, good location!

The WiFi was extremely slow and data didn't work in the dorm or common area, so you had to go outside of the hostel to communicate with the rest of the world

The location was superb (walking from ferry and plenty of restaurants around) and the wifi worked great. Staff was super friendly, and helpful. The hostel is a bit on the rustic side but the facilities weren't bad - bar onsite with karaoke, plenty of showers (hot water) and toilets (both were fairly clean). Food is available for purchase. The 14 bedroom was large enough to accommodate people and their belongings (did not feel tied). Hostel works with a good dive shop (Shark Tail) that offers dives at a fair price.

Try to avoid the 4 bed dorm since the room had an odd musty/mold smell. At times with the heat it was unbearable.

The disposition of the beds make it more insulated from noise and light. Helpful staff and good vibes. Good food as well.

Karaoke being loud everywhere. The wifi do not work in the rooms, and for several days did not work anywhere. And when it workes and you have to make a phone call, the place where there is signal is... where the karaoke is.

I stayed there cause it was the cheapest place in the island and because the rest of the accomodations is really expensive but it's still expensive for what you get...

I liked the location, close to the beach and also close to the port. The beds were comfortable, and your individual bunk is very private and dark. The staff are super welcoming and accommodating and know how to make your time there well spent!

the A/C was great in the room but once you got into your bunk bed I couldn’t feel it much but not the end of the world still bearable and I’m sure if I asked them, they would’ve turned it down

The staff were not very friendly. Anytime I was in reception, I felt like I was intruding on their own party. The staff were also loud right outside the rooms in the morning. Lots of mosquitos around and the wifi didn't work at all.

Very convenient place to stay. They provided a blanket for the air-con room which is very rare here. The Landry area is very well thought of. great vibe and great staff.

wifi needs some improvement. SMART doesn’t have good connection in their dorm area and their wifi doesn’t work properly. So be prepared for a Cellphone free stay.
