It was ok. Served our purposes for going to watch a concert. 35 m walk into Cambridge. Got a taxi on the evening of the concert.

Not the cleanest. Room a bit tired.

Ontbijt was goed. Ook koffie en thee op de kamer. En rustige omgeving.

Het toilet kon je niet goed doortrekken. En de kamer was wat aan de kleine kant.

Easy to find, with very friendly, informative and helpful staff. Lovely clean room. Had twin beds with shower Ensuite, TV, etc. We found it quiet, despite being on what I would class as a main road, and a great location for accessing Cambridge itself and the railway station. Owner kindly arranged a taxi for me to the station as well as recommending places to visit and eat out at. Had a lovely full English breakfast with juice and coffee which set us up for the day. Any dietary needs were met by the owner on request, very helpful with this. Would definitely stay there again on a return visit to Cambridge, if they had the dates available.

Super Frühstück mit toller vegetarischer Option (English Breakfast), sehr füllend :) Zusätzlich gab es noch kleinere Snacks und Cornflakes, sowie diverse süße Aufstriche. Sehr bequemes Bett. Schönes, altes Gebäude. Sehr ruhig. Direkt nebenan ist ein Pub mit super Preisen, aber man hört keinerlei Geräusche des Pubs, da eine Straße dazwischen verläuft. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Lage etwas weit weg von allem, kleines Zimmer aber hat uns nicht so sehr gestört, Check-in Prozess: man muss anrufen, wenn man dort ist - die Infos könnte man auch vorher per E-Mail erhalten, da es ein Self Check-In ist. Bad war sehr kühl und wurde trotz Heizung nicht warm.

Bem afastado do centro, portanto silenciosa. A região é pouco movimentada e à noite não se vê ninguém na rua.

Na mensagem que recebi dizia que o check in era até meia noite. Cheguei às 10:30h e não havia ninguém na recepção, apenas um recado dizendo para entrar em contato via telefone. Tentei, mas a ligação não completava. Pedi para uma amiga tentar, e a mesma situação. Tinha um código para acessar a casa, mas não havia recebido qdo fiz a reserva. Por sorte apareceu um taxista e peguei a corrida com ele para voltar ao centro, onde havia um Ibis. Paguei uma fortuna lá. No dia seguinte havia uma msg da noite anterior no booking.com com o código da porta. Tarde demais, então solicitei o reembolso do que havia pago pq não me hóspedes com eles e se reusaram dizendo que não tinham localizado nenhuma ligação minha. Não gostei do tratamento que recebi. Se tinha o código pq não enviaram antes com as instruções? Não indico o lugar.

The room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was good. Free parking was great.

This is just an observation rather than a don’t like - the building is now painted in an unusual pink colour …. with the ongoing and complicated roadworks and people on bikes zooming around madly, this made it slightly harder for me to spot. There is a perfectly good hanging sign displayed by the guest house which I only noticed later!

Property was lovely , staff was very friendly, breakfast was good , it’s about a 25 minute walk into Cambridge town but there’s lots of taxi if you need them and a button you can press in reception too , which we used and the taxi came within 15 mins.

Only one small thing it was really hard finding the property in the dark, maybe the sign for the guest house could be bigger and maybe a light,

The Quilt in our room was a light summer quilt and when we checked in the heating was on auto off so we were cold and there was no extra blankets ….it was a cold night

The room deco is very warm and delicate. Amenities are readily available. Breakfast included was served fresh and delicious. Service was excellent.

The single beds are placed on a metal stand, not exactly stable

Betten waren zwar schmal aber sehr bequem und warm.

Heizung wurde gegen Morgen abgedreht. Bett schmal. Tür zum Badezimmer klemmte. DER KANAL STANK BESTIALISCH! Frühstück wurde für Kind - obwohl Vollzahler nur widerwillig kredenzt. Bei Ankunft im Starkregen wurde der Zugang trotzdem erst nach peinlich genau eingehaltener Mittagspause ermöglicht.

Good breakfast. 30 minutes walk to the town. Nice and warm during this cold spell.

The room was clean and otherwise good but small.

The cooks preparing the breakfast had to open the window to of the room to let out the smoke they created while cooking. As it was freezing the room was rather cold. We ordered breakfast at eight but it took them nearly 20 minutes to prepare. The first day, despite my request, the glutenfree bread was absent. The next day only one slice was served together with one egg. No ham, no cheese, just this. They only good thing was that we thought we had entered an episode of fawlty towers.

The staff member is always contactable

The car park is full when I arrive. I would say the car park is not big enough, and the administration work is not adequate in the area. The attitude of the reception staff member got plenty room to improve as well, her focus is to get the payment rather than how to serve.

We arrived early and Lesley, who was there to clean the rooms, was really helpful. The place is spotlessly clean. It suited our needs perfectly. The breakfast was good.

Not the cleanest. Arrived to pillow covered in black hair. Bathroom also covered in hair. Quite obvious as well so could easily have been cleaned... Room nice but cramped for space

Great location on the bus line with parking for car. It was easy to get into the room using your phone, though no one is available on site other than in the morning. It was a good value for the money and clean.

A bit noisy with other guest a bit loud in their coming and going. Breakfast was great though the room for eating was small. Room showed normal wear and tear, and is almost due for a facelift.

Nice classical decoration, The owner prepared us a very good english breakfast 10 mn from downtown Cambridge.

The accommodation is very modern and clean and comfortable Parking was fine although we arrived early to secure a spot on the property the breakfast choice was very good and the location was well served by buses to go into the city

the doors in our room stuck and closing could have been noisy to other residents Our biggest concern is that, having booked for more than one night, the room was only serviced prior to arrival; the biggest impact being we ran out of tea and milk and, as the accommodation is self serve (no management on site) we were face with shopping for tea and milk The information for the hotel should make all potential visitors aware of the servicing situation we could cope with tidying room etc but not lack of refreshments

The location is good, quite close to the city center. Around 30-40 min walk. Rooms are clean and there was a small parking close to the house.

We found it great that there were outlets for european devices, but unfortunately they did not function-suppose itnis an easy fix though. Also, plumbing did not work perfectly.

Had all the basic necessities of beds & an en suite. Car parking was a prime reason for selecting this accommodation too.

The Cambridge Guest House by Tas is a good location.Room is very nice and fully of facilites.There 're many space for car park.

Could not sit the window in the room, I was asked about my breakfast options for a long time prior to the stay with no idea what choice I could have , finally emailed my choice and in the morning no one had any idea and was given something other then ordered. Never provided that I needed a pin to unlock keys to let myself in had to ring to get that info from my Australian phone maybe don’t assume that guest have asses to be able to call as never explained in emails
