It was a lovely studio, nicely furnished and clean. The location is excelent and the staff were friendly and nice.

It was a bit noisy because the door was directly in the street, but that is something common in the historical center

The host was very friendly and gave us a little tour of the area on our way to our room location. The room was cute, we were near pretty much everything that we wanted to be near.

The only thing that we had a hard time with was the bed was not the most comfortable.

I was charged for 5€ to check-in at 20h00. That’s the first time I met the extra fee for check-in.

Unfortunately the room we had was not the one i booked, too small. The problem with water pressure occuring, a little bit smelly, but this is an old building so this is acceptable, loud so take earplugs. The voice in tv was not working

It was beautifully decorated. The bed was excellent and you had a good selection of different pillows.

The breakfast was a let down as expected but I would warmly recommend Stefys catedral coffee in front of the basilica of San sabino. Delis panzerotti and nice service.

Nice people and great location

Guests would probably appreciate to have clean bed sheets, no hair in the bed and in general a cleaner room.

They took us to a different property compared to what we originally booked, not telling us about the change or giving us a choice The other property where they took us was huge, full of old creepy furniture that was falling apart, heating didn’t work and there was no light in the main area; it was semi clean; also internet didn’t work They say breakfast included but all you get is a croissant and coffee whereas other places offer full breakfast AVOID IN ANY INSTANCE

Very good location. In the center, but not in the noisy part. The breakfast was low avarage. We have much better croissant in Hungary regard to freshness.

the bed mattress need to be changed.

The appartment is located directly in the old town. The staff communicated quickly and proactively while our stay. While an electricity fall-out in the appartment that was likely caused because too many electric devices and air-con was turned on, the staff acted quickly during the weekend.

We were given a different appartment from what we actually thought we booked from the images here on booking.com. The appartment was spacious but unfortunately not as seen or described - no romantic place at all. We didn't feel comforatable at that place. Towels had stains, ants in the rooms, sheets smelled used and not freshy washed, flat seemed not properly cleaned before out stay, water gets stuck in the sink, broken lamps, balcony chairs in the living room, soot from the chimney all over the balcony, walking barefot in the apparment we got black feet, a random dried out basil top in the hallway that is probably sitting there for weeks - which shows the carelessness of cleaning staff and no attention to details at all. Overall an unpleasant time in the appartment.

- Airconditioning did not work - Breakfast was at a nearby cafe and only included one drink and one croissant per person.

The room is nice and it's in the old part of the city centre of Bari. The staff is nice and helpful.

the reception was very good, nice quick guide around the main attractions and top places to visit, support by message very responsive and great room location in the old town of the city (despite of being very noisy during the night).

Breakfast was included on price but it was only a single croissant and a coffee (no options for water or juice, I had to pay the extra in cash). The street where room is located was noisy, bed wasn't the best quality possible.

Great location in Bari vecchia, close to many restaurants, bars and attractions. Very conforable bed and very nice looking room.

Room for first look really nice and comfortable. But when U look closer not really. There were cigarettes butts left in chest of drawer. Nobody clean this. Also our bed was broken so it wasn’t really comfortable to sleep on it. The best option was not to move. Nobody also check that before we arrived. The worst was breakfast. There is no information that breakfast won’t be served in BB. It was served in the cafe close to BB. Always croissant and coffee. When U wanted something else- like toast - answer no because no. Cafe staff was arguing about it. But it was possible because other tourist received that. Prize - expensive. In the week timew we travel to Milano and we will pay less than this BB but we stay in Hilton hotel🥲

The place is located in a wonderful part of Bari - the Old Town, where you can really experience the Italian atmosphere. Locals are gathering around in the evening and enjoying their time together in front of their homes. Mrs. Giovanna from Mare was extremely helpful and not only told us a little about the history of the Old Town but also recommended a few places to ear & visit. We had to return our car earlier and they (Giovanna & Laura) helped us with reserving a taxi for an early morning that got us to the airport on the last day. We were having breakfast at the lovely Italian cafe nearby with absolutely wonderful croissants and coffee. Everybody in there was friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend Mare as a place to stay to anybody heading to Bari!

We had a room with stone walls and even though they matched the atmosphere of the neighborhood very well, those walls were crushing a little bit so a little bit of sand ended up on our bed here and there.

You cant be more in the historic city center than in Mare! :) Very nice old house, new reconstructed, everything in order. Every day and evening you can just go out and enjoy the atmosphere of the old city, have a nice diner, go shopping or take a short trip to the beach. We really loved the place and hope we will comeback!
