Overall great home and convenient location. Home was well appointed and just the right accessories to make for an enjoyable stay. House was well maintained, clean and very organized. Communication was good, it is very clear that S Lake Tahoe is very strict on noise complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

I’m a clean freak and I found this home spotless. It is fully stocked and super cozy. The owner’s photographs on the walls is a nice touch. Michael was very communicative and friendly. I was happy there was no trace of pets since my son is allergic. I would stay here again no doubt!

My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary this June. I told my family that I didn’t want a party. My daughter suggested a trip instead. We picked South Lake Tahoe and she found this lovely one level house which I needed, I am using a walker. We had a total of 6 people, 4 adults and two teens. The house “fit” us all just fine. It is one of the best equipped kitchens and the bathrooms had everything we needed. We found the propane tank was low and Michael came over soon with two new tanks. The family enjoyed the Fuse-ball game and the hot tub. We were all very happy with this place. If we decide to do this trip again we would love to stay here.

We really enjoyed this stay - had 8 stay here and we slept pretty comfortably. Hot tub was excellent and always hot. Grill was available and worked perfectly. Lots of dishes etc perfect for a weekend getaway. We were a little annoyed with the quiet hours but once you hear how quiet it is in the neighborhood at night you understand . We were about 10-15 min from the casinos etc.
Would definitely stay here again!

Great place! Quiet, close to town, water hearted was a little tricky, no access to garage, and quiet hours were 9:30 pm to 8 am which was not a problem for our family, just different from what was advertised. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the very nice home in a quiet neighborhood and close to town. Definitely recommend this home.

Perfect place for our short midweek stay. Close to Heavenly by car, hot tub was perfect after a long ski day! Owner was very responsive and helpful.

We enjoy this beautiful, clean , comfortable house in a great location. I would definitely stay again. Micheal was amazing to work with. We had a personal situation and accommodated for us to have a late checkout ❤️

house was great. had everything we needed and it kept adults, teens and kids busy. location was easy to find, and neighborhood was very friendly. this probably goes without being said, but be prepared for heavy snow in neighborhood roads. a big mistake my group had was taking a low profile car thinking it would get out with ease, but had issues with our chains, which caused us to get stuck before getting in the main road. many neighbors stopped to help which was really nice of them!

We just got home from a lovely 2 day stay at our home away from home, Micheal's home. The house is simple as I mentioned in my title but absolutely perfect. Clean, organized, everything you want or desire, but not cluttered. The location of the home is perfect. Close to Safeway, Casinos, downtown, and most importantly the snow! There is a ton of clean snow! The community is beautiful...just looking at the homes as you drive through the neighborhood is a treat in itself. We will be in Tahoe again soon and plan on staying at "Uncle Micheal's" place again! We have no relation, but that's how refer to him now because he was so kind and welcoming.

Very accommodating host, over and above any I have dealt with. Michael is not only a great host but wonderful photographer. Beautiful examples of his work all over the home. We loved the house, everything you could ask for in the kitchen. Our needs were met and we loved our stay. Nothing negative to say about this rental. Thank you and we hope we can return.

Perfect Heavenly Getaway
My wife, friends and I took an extending weekend to go to the nearby ski resorts. Nothing beats hopping in the hot tub after a full day on the slopes. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host is great with communication and was both responsive and helpful. We absolutely would stay at this property again in the future!

Beautiful home
This was a beautiful home that was very clean with everything you could need for a great stay. Small things like qtips, shampoo, body wash, lotion were all provided. The kitchen was well stocked as well. The only downside was the extreme rules of the neighborhood which we received by email an hour before arriving. Basically no using the hot tub after 9pm, no talking outside after 9 pm. My best friend and I both ladies in our 40s were looking forward to hotubbing at night after the kids went to bed. Not an option. Also there was a camera pointed at the hot tub (im guessing to ensure compliance) but was unnerving. I would stay in this house again, just plan for early hot tub dips.

Wonderful house!
This house is very nice and worked out great for our two families. Beautiful artwork and the house was very clean. Only comment is that the master bedroom seemed to be loud which I think we narrowed down to noise coming from the fire place in the family room. But once we figured that out, everything was great. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!!

The property owner insisted that the code needed to be followed by a #. There was no # on the digital lock. He didn't believe us until we sent him a picture. After that, he sends us a new code. Then, we went about cooking on the grill. We figured since there were STRICT rules about cleaning the grill and house etc, that everything would be ready to use. Well, the grill hadn't been cleaned of grease in a long time. We almost had a fire because the grease tray hadn't been cleaned out in ages. We ended up having to clean up from the previous people and maybe even a few people back from that.None of the wifi information was correct on the big chalk board they have in the kitchen. The welcome book was not where it was indicated it should be. And at night, there is a loud noise that repeats all night that can be heard in the master bedroom.Overall, the place wasn't terrible, however almost everything that was wrong could have been corrected earlier, and made things feel smoother.

Girls weekend
We had a great time!! The only unfortunate thing is that we lost power for two hours. We did contact the property manager, but wasnt able to help. He told us he had a generator, but didnt work. We had to wait it out. Everything was clean in the cabin. Also,the lock for the front door has issues. We had difficulties making sure the door was actually locked.

FABULOUS 40th Birthday
We had 4 couples join us for my 40th birthday, and this was the perfect house for it! No one was on top of each other, and we were able to relax, cook, enjoy the hot tub, all in a Winter Wonderland!! It's a perfect location to enjoy the town, casinos, and SNOW!! We will certainly be returning in the future!

Great getaway spot in Tahoe
I reserved this house for a weekend with my kids and folks. All ages were comfortable and happy with the house. It's spacious, clean and very well organized. The house is tastefully decorated and well-equipped with everything you may need. Will bookmark this house for future stays for sure. Highly recommend this property!

Nice property
The location is great, 5-10 mins from the casinos, and the house is very nice in a quiet neighborhood. Overall the house was great for the warmer time of year and what we needed it for.
Tips* Double check that the garage will be available to you for parking during your stay if it’s snowing, and don’t plan on anyone sleeping on the couch as it is broken.

Owner did not divulge all issues
The cabin was very nice. But soon after we arrived we discovered the couch was broken so very uncomfortable. I notified the owner and he was aware before our arrival. He offered no compensation for the inconvenience! For the amount we paid per night and had no comfortable couch it was way over priced!!! Be careful with this owner.

Highly recommend!
Wonderful location and property! The host was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Our two young boys had a blast playing with the Foos Ball table! The house was very well-appointed. We found a lot of things to do while on our trip, from tubing to bike riding, exploring the nearby indoor Ice Arena, to enjoying yummy meals at Heavenly Village. Thank you for a nice trip!

Wonderful place to stay in South Lake Tahoe
Our party of 3 families (6 adults, 3 kids) had the best time in south lake Tahoe. Because our kids are young, we do end up spending a lot of time indoors and using the kitchen. Everything was in great shape (equipment, amenities, kitchen supplies) and of good quality. Owner and property manager were quick to respond to questions and were very helpful in identifying places of interest in the local area. I couldn’t have been more happy and satisfied with our stay! I highly recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a home away from home. Thanks for the great memories! We will be back.

Perfect for our Group
We were really impressed with this property it had everything our group needed, The neighborhood was nice and quiet, 10 minute drive to the downtown area, The house was clean with comfortable beds, Big kitchenTable, Living room/Kitchen was great for hanging out and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The owners photos which decorate the walls were amazing. Best Rental I have stayed in.

Perfect Vacation rental
it wasn't easy to find a single story home with upgraded amenities in the SLT area, but this one fit our needs perfectly. Beds were comfortable with nice linens, spacious bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, and the location was in a quiet neighbored 10 minutes from the downtown area. Infinite hiking and biking trails across the street from the property, and our favorite was all the photos from the owners travels. excellent property and recommend to all.

Absolutely THE BEST! Perfect for so many reasons!
We stayed at this home over Thanksgiving for a family gathering of 8 plus a baby. Being a single story was a huge plus. But that was only the beginning. We felt like we were staying at a family member's home! It did not have the feel of a rental by any means. Everyone had a comfy queen size bed, with quality linens throughout. The home is decorated very tastefully, with high grade furniture and appliances. Beautiful Photography graced the walls, all work of the artist/owner! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. That alone says ALOT! We are thankful to have found this beauty and SHALL return! Thank you Michael!
