Pristine, simple, well appointed common areas and rooms. Perfect balance for the vibrant beauty of Capri. Felt like a calm oasis after a day of walking around the island. Very zen-like. Service was top notch. Often it’s tough to find a good balance between personable and professional but this place wrote the book on that. I felt like a valued guest the entire time but with sincerity and also recognition of my privacy. Travelling on my own can have its challenges (I normally travel with my husband but wanted a solo trip) but Ettore and the rest of the staff made it seem completely normal and I was well attended to. Every morning Ettore would sit with me and plan out an itinerary that allowed me to see more than I imagined. Also even though it was the beginning of August and the island was swarming with tourists, I often found myself exploring the sites on my own or with just a few others. He directed me to incredible places taking into account my desire to walk a lot (I got 28,000 steps one day!!!) He took care of dinner reservations again recommending based on my tastes. Of course I will be back!

Ettore & his team are fantastic. Like a family away from home. They were super helpful and are very good hosts. From recommending the best places to taking care of our needs we could not have asked for more. We will be definitely staying here if we visit again! :) Their breakfast is amazing too

The location is amazing. Breakfast meets all your needs - bread, croissants and jams, butter, cheese spread and Nutella basket. Also, Cappuccino and coffee, tea and juices, fresh fruit basket, yogurts and cereals - all overlooking the Fariglioni and the Augusto’s Gardens! The same terrace offers a selection of wines, Prosecco, beers, and refreshments for an afternoon and before dinner break. The rooms have the automatic rolling metal outdoor shades for the outmost dark room effect which is amazing while on vacation. Excellent stay.

Location was amazing 5 minutes from piazzetta and close to all main attractions and restaurants Ettore and the rest of the staff was super nice to us and helped us booking boat trip / beach clubs and gave us a lot of super helpful recommendations

Warm welcoming, friendly and smiling staff. Hotel was clean and served good breakfast (not buffet). Good bed. The A/C is also great in the hot summer moths. Location is good, be prepared to walk a lot in Capri.

Nothing that the hotel could do better, there is a abandoned looking house just next to the hotel and is part of the breakfast view. Without that it would be 10/10.

Hector, Michelle, Francesco & the staff were wonderful to us. I really like that hotel. La Tosca is a small family owned business. They pay attention to little details that made our stay very comfortable. The outdoor patio is a wonderful place to sit for breakfast and take in the breathtaking views of the monastery which sits just below the hotel. I like that the hotel is not in a busy section of town, so it was very quiet in the evenings. Grazie 🇮🇹

Loved the location and everything about the hotel.

The friendliness and helpful of the staff was beyond compare! The location is prime yet quiet. Breakfast is a peaceful experience outdoors with a view and plenty to eat. Our room had a king size bed that we had divided into two twin beds and a second bed for us. We're also had a patio with chaise loungues. The bathroom was roomy and nice! They provide everything but hair conditioner.

As soon as we got to the hotel, they took our bags and had us relax on the hotel patio with a complementary refreshment even though our room was ready. This immediately set the tone for the amazing service we received the entire stay. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with a perfect sized patio. The breakfast that they offer is delicious. They also offer beer, wine, limoncello, water and other beverages throughout the day. The location is a short walk to the town center, but far enough back that you will experience tranquility. We would absolutely stay here again!!

The location was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely on the terrace and had an amazing view! Would recommend.

The view room in the room wasn’t great, but the view on the main terrace by the entrance made up for it.

The all the staff at the hotel were great. The room was very clean and comfortable.

There was only one thing that was strange for me. There was no iron at the property and we had to give our clothes to the laundry and receive them the next day. And of course we had to pay for the service. In the description of the hotel is said that there is an iron in the room so I thing that they should correct that and give proper information. Any ways, its not very difficult to have a single ironing board and iron at the property.
