Loved this traditional Japanese Ryokan. It was simple yet everything I could want out of my stay when I come to Japan. Host was accommodating, the place / room was clean and comfortable, the area was quaint. Would highly recommend!

The guesthouse is nestled in a safe, quiet neighbourhood in Kita Senju. I enjoyed the peaceful and leisurely walk back to the dorm and could find my way without google maps after 2-3 nights. The host, Daisuke, is pleasant, sincere and friendly. The guesthouse is warm and cosy and feels like you’re staying in a friend’s house. The water is hot when you shower and there is a microwave to heat up food from convenience stores. Best of all are the mix of international travellers you meet during the stay here. All of us hung out in the common area for some nights and it was lovely to meet people from different countries and backgrounds. Would definitely recommend to the solo backpacker or traveller ✨

The location is very good and convenient to enter the subway station, restaurant, mini-market, shopping store. The staff is so friendly & helpful.

The room should be cleaned everyday, I stayed 3 nights without tidying-up service and it was quite uncomfortable. They should include the towels or tissues in the room.

Kagaribi is a cozy traditional style guesthouse in a very quiet neighbourhood, around 15 min by foot to Kita-Senju station, from which you can get anywhere in Tokyo. :)) Daisuke the host is super friendly and the common area is very chill, everyone was very nice and our small group of friends enjoyed our stay here very much <3

Stylishly decorated and not too far from train station also very quiet.

Too many rules.

Its very clean. Everything looks so stylish. The kitchen is quite modern and well equipped with all the cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable and the common room is quite neat and cozy.

Maybe there could be more towels around the kitchen and the sinks near the bathrooms.

The shower is good. I loved the neighborhood.

Dorm is too dark and very small size. Being a japanese wooden house you can hear everything is happening in the whole house.
