1. We checked in to a room that was not clean properly

5. Manager are also not compensating for the bad service with the reason booking is done via booking.com

Cleanliness can be improved - there were hair stuck on the chairs. Toiletries don’t smell good.

Old and run down. Badly in need of renewal.
Housekeeping staff doing slipshod work. Did not complete their tasks and just rushed through and had to be informed what to do.
Lifts buttons and sensors don’t work well causing my and my family members to get hit by the lift doors many times.
Phone not being able to call to reception resulting in the guest having to go to lobby for requests.
No manager on duty on a Sunday morning which is usually the timing that most guest will check out.
Requested for a call back which never came.
I have stayed at this property many times in the past few years and it WAS wonderful. It is really bad now. Service is bad, rooms are old, pillows are so flat that they are like old pieces of cloth with no fluff and structure, TV channels are totally uninteresting with minimal international channels. And the property charges a very premium price. If not for the fact that the property is located at a very convenient location near my family home I will surely not stay here again. In fact, I think it may be cheaper to just pay for transport than pay for such bad service and amenities from Somerset group. I know my complaints will jus the buried away but I will write straight to Singapore HQ on this matter.

A very kind security person welcome us at the drop-off entrance and lead us right up until Reception Lobby on 6th Floor. He was polite, kind and being patience and tried his very best to answer any of our question.
It was a little tricky to have found the control switches for cooking stove and microwave, but we did found it by accident. Management team should have provided a clearer instruction notice stand and put it on kitchen counter.

That's a bit hassle and confusing when you need to change few lifts to go to your room. Check in counter is at Level 6, entrance at Ground floor and you will need to use lift at Level 3 to proceed to Level 6 first for check in and to the room.

The apartment was spacious, clean and of superb quality. The customer service is really excellent from all the staff there. I requested for an early check-in without much hope of getting it as my flight arrived in KLIA at 5:20 am. Imagine my surprise when I called Somerset and they immediately agree to provide me with an early check-in at 10:30 am. Superb and exceptional customer service, thanks Hary!

the premier studio room is lovely. my Aunty and uncle loved it. they like the room design. it’s cosy and elegant.
the parking ticket gave problems eventhough we went to verify at front desk, couldn’t leave the hotel, had to call security and that also had issues. hope you can look into this.
