We loved the aesthetic! Beautifully set-up with comfy hanging chairs. Location was also VERY beautiful and secluded. Almost all staff were warm and friendly ❤️
Wifi was very patchy, both booked activities started very late (even considering “island time”), food was delicious but portions were quite small considering the price

The Moso is built on stunning beachfront property.
It is white, clean, bright and breezy.
Nothing really.

I can only say WOW WOW WOW. The Moso is an amazing resort to stay at. It well and truly exceeded my expectations. We had the most wonderful beachfront villa, situated right beside the resort pool. From the moment we received our welcome cocktail, we were made to feel welcomed and at home. The staff are exceptional, you only have to ask and they are there to help. We celebrated a birthday and anniversary and the staff made our special day extraordinary. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend the around island tour with a swim in a cave, a private beach picnic and a visit to the turtle sanctuary.
The only thing I could say is it is a little pricey but we found it value for money considering the delicious food and beverages.

Visually appealing modern accomodation. Privacy was good in the villa.
You aren't able to just pop back to the mainland to get something to eat or go to the shops given the location. Although the island is lovely, the private beach is nice and the property itself is visually appealing, I believe a much higher quality of food and service needs to be provided. The staff were nice enough but better communication was needed at times. We waited half an hour one night before we asked when our dessert was arriving, we were then told they didn't have any left, it was a little frustrating. I had toast each day we stayed and were charged the same price at eggs on toast 2 out of the 3 days. Consistency is key when you're on vacation. The villa itself was lovely however we did have stained sheets, and had to pay for pod coffee if we chose to have a cup in our room. I think for $2000 for 3 nights coffee pods really should be included...however we did eat it some of the better food we experienced whilst in Vanuatu which was a positive.

The island was gorgeous and ideal for an off grid getaway. Great snorkelling and a decent walk to the local private beach.
Great activities and the bistro was amazing.
Inconsistent service in room and at bistro.
Website needs updating, not enough current info (menu, day spa).
Super slippery floors when wet in and around villa. Villa lap pool was unusable in July due to no sunlight on water.
Leaking plumbing, and in room facilities not well maintained.

great location, staff n snorkelling. everything was superb

The Moso is just an escape from reality, away from all the responsibilities to a tropical island, where the ocean is always warm and beer always cold. The lap pool villa is unreal to wake up in, 7am private pool swim with the view is just another level.
Don't forget your snorkel, you'll regret it. Front beach for stand up and kayak and the one at the back of the island proper cast away feeling.
Very nice staff, owners always around for little chat.
Overall great 6 nights stay for a price of a long weekend in Sydney. With just 3.5 hour flight from Sydney, The Moso ticks all the boxes.
2 hurricanes in one week took a tool on some local food supplies, few items were missing from the menu, what was really a shame, particularly the fish and fruit we were looking forward to, but everything what was available was a great tasty food (local organic meet is a must to try)

Stunning location. Wonderful Staff. Clean Villas. The perfect place for a holiday / honeymoon.

The staff were amazing! The location was really beautiful. The rooms and pool were very nice, spacious, modern with a beach bungalow twist.
The food was not up to scratch. Half the menu was unavailable, portions were tiny for the price, we are both vegan and there was very very little to eat, we lived off of fries and bread for 2 days but still somehow spent $400. The açai bowl was literally brown water with a shot of granola that fell to the bottom (this was $20!) the fruit plate was an apple and an orange cut into 4 segments. Our final bill had items on it that we ordered but never arrived. We were charged an extra fee on check out, and told it was for tax (which wasn’t stated on the menu). We had an argument with the owner about our vegan diet, he was drunk and told us he didn’t agree with our choices, which we felt was extremely rude and and disrespectful. We also felt that paying 3000 for the 5 minute boat to the island was unfair and should have been included in the price of the room, there is no other way to get there but by boat so we had no choice. The hotel tried to charge us $350 for the airport transfer, however we managed to get a transfer half price with a local instead!

Beautiful setting and decor, and lovely ni-van staff. Enjoyed using the pool and kayaks, as well as all the seating options/swings they provided. We appreciated being welcomed early to the resort on the day of check-in to relax. Bedroom was spacious. Moso island itself is truly beautiful.
The room smelt like body odour on check in. No wifi available anywhere (despite being advertised in public spaces, it did not work), and no 3G/4G coverage. Food was very overpriced, small portion sizes and tasteless (sometimes burnt), and every night we were there, only about 50% of the items on the menu were actually available. I also enquired about one activity they had on offer, but was informed the buggies were broken. Usually these issues with food and activities are minor, but when you are on a remote island you become pretty reliant on what the resort can provide. I'm aware that we are on a tropical island, but having stayed in vanuatu (including on moso island for 2 weeks prior to the Moso resort), we never had a major issue with insects/rodents beyond what you would expect. However this was not the case with the Moso resort - we seen multiple rats running around the resort, and heard other guests complaining of rodents in their room/eating through their suitcases. The owners never followed through with solutions (e.g., offering to bring insect spray to the room at night but did not). I also felt extremely sorry for the staff who had to work 20+ hours per day, 7+ days in a row. Everyday we had mistakes with our meals (and no wonder, given that the staff are extremely overworked). Overall, I do not recommend staying here. We were fortunate enough to spend many weeks in Vanuatu and meet many beautiful people, and despite this place being one of the most expensive and highly rated places we stayed at, it was probably the worst in some respects.

It’s a paradise location and the bed was very comfortable.
The advertised set food price was not honoured and the photos of the property were not accurate. Unfortunately the property has degraded substantially over time and has not been maintained. Overgrowth covered our view, the furnishings were tired and unclean and the bathrooms and sinks need a good scrub. There was no working spa facility and activities were expensive. We did feel trapped and forced to pay high food rates without knowing or being able to check currency - there was absolutely NO wifi at all - not even in the public space. We escaped the island by kayak after one night and thankfully received a refund for our remaining nights. We really hope the owners can get it back to its former glory, ….but it isn’t what it once was or what it depicts …such a shame.

Stunning island beautiful beach and staff
Mattress was old and stained.
The final night we did not stay on the island as recommended by management due to weather conditions and still paid the $600 for the evening.
We purchased breakfast included however no coffee or breakfast drinks were included and it would have been cheaper to pay for what we ordered off the menu and not pre purchase breakfast when booking the stay.

The peace and Serenity were fantastic. The Staff Terrific and the location brilliant. Despite the resort being at capacity we felt like we were the only ones there
Some of the rooms are difficult to access due to a steep hill. When booking ask for the rooms around the pool

Nothing - It was a wonderful laid back luxury. It is an island so great to recharge the batteries

We enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere that the owners and staff have created. Everything is well thought out and considered. The food was very good. The place has everything you need to relax and enjoy a few moments in paradise.
There isn’t much not to like. Almost everything was perfect! If we are being picky… a couple of mix-ups of dinner orders could have been better avoided. The charge for coffee capsules in the room is not something we’ve seen anywhere else. Obviously not big points though, that didn’t diminish our experience.

The Moso is such an intimate boutique setting! Loved the limited number of guests and it being adults-only. The owners are always around, and so very attentive. The staff is fun and friendly.
If you expect mainland opulence and silver services, this spot is not for you. It is off grid and eco-friendly and guests who have a similar spirit of casual relaxation with essential mod-cons catered to, it’s perfect.
Internet is sparse to non-existent, and 3G and 4G is sometimes spotty, so have a roaming plan for mobile data if your email is essential to life away, and be willing hunt the best hotspots.
There aren’t words for the private beach and bay on the west side of the island. it is worth the trip just to spend time there. We are returning in 6 weeks and again next year.

Beautiful remote location, large villas with stylish island decoration, very Eco-oriented which we appreciate! Very small but tasty food menu with options. Lovely and friendly staff Kevin, Helen and Isaac were absolutely amazing as well as the owners. Even the music selection in the restaurant was spot on. We were extremely lucky and spent almost the entire week being the only couple which meant it was always quiet, however given there is only a handful of villas I would imagine it is always like that. We really enjoyed our trip to Francesca's Italian restaurant which had amazing food.
We felt everything was fairly priced at the resort including food/drink however the cost of day trips and transport to Francesca's was quite high in our opinion and could add up quickly if you wanted to do a lot of activities away from the resort.

Amazing place amazing staff beautiful villas, such a slice of paradise! Lovedddd the dogs, and the breakfasts!
We just got hit by a lot of wind the week we were there but if your happy to walk about 25mins to the other side of the island you can escape the wind and you have a private beach!
