Historic Bonny Cottage in downtown Beaufort SC
Das Bonny Cottage befindet sich auf dem Grundstück von Ellen und Mike Tomy im historischen Viertel von Beaufort, South Carolina. Es wurde im späten 19. Jahrhundert nach der jüngsten "Unannehmlichkeit" für die befreiten Sklaven errichtet, die sich im Süden aufhielten. We stayed five nights at this lovely place. It is cozy and perfectly located to downtown. Super clean and we had everything we needed provided for us. Plenty of space for me and my wife. Downtown is really at most a five minute walk and the walk is rather nice. Definitely would stay here again. Oh. And just saying the people of this city are the nicest people on the planet ! Seriously!

This was a wonderful place to stay while in Beaufort. You can easily walk to downtown and all of the restaurants. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped. Definitely consider Bonny Cottage for your next trip to Beaufort.

Our stay at Bonny cottage was very enjoyable. Easy walking distance to restaurants and the downtown. The cottage is very clean and the furnishings are quite nice.The furniture for sitting is doable. Television and streaming services great. We have discovered another fine place in the VRBO system.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bonny Cottage! The hosts, Mike and Ellen, were gracious and welcoming. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed walking to the waterfront and nearby restaurants. We’re looking forward to a return visit!

And lovely, adorable,classy,sparkling and close to everything in historic downtown Beaufort , and yet very private and quiet .
It is decorated with wonderful antiques,has heart of pine floors, a comfortable 4 poster bed, lovely paintings by Ellen, and equipped with whatever you need.

Our stay at Bonny Cottage could not have been better! The cottage is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. This was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. The cottage is in walkable distance to the many historic sites, restaurants and shops. Ellen met us on our arrival and Introduced us to the cottage and was accessible and communicated throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

This cottage is a GEM. It has historical significance that the owner has preserved beautifully. The artwork is an arrangement of original pieces painted by the owner who is a very talented portrait artist. So much thought and care has gone into the experience, from the pantry to the bathroom in terms of items to make a stay more comfortable and beautiful.It's both charming and historical, as well as modern and convenient.

The property is beautiful. The house was spotless. Decorated in beautiful antiques. The furniture was comfortable and the amenities were plentiful.
Our hosts Ellen and Mike are lovely people. We enjoyed getting to know them.
The location of the property was walking distance to most everything.
We experienced First Friday in Beaufort. That was fun and unexpected. There is lots to do. We had many great meals at the local eateries. And hope to return sometime. You will not be disappointed.

We so enjoyed staying in this charming historic cottage. It was beautifully restored and decorated. Everything you would need has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay pleasurable. The location in the historic district was the best! It was in short walking distance from everything but on a quiet street. Exceptional property in a perfect location
The cottage itself exceeded expectation with it's many appointments and attention to detail! Everything was well thought out and the host made sure we had everything we needed. They provided all the information necessary to make the most of our stay including must see attractions and dinning. The location could not have been better, we truly got a sense of life in the low country and Beaufort which is a real treasure. We will certainly be back! This cottage was the perfect place to to visit after a very long tax season. The owners were very kind and made us feel welcomed. The cottage is very charming and it had all the amenities you could ever need. It is within walking distance to everything. We would definately visit again!
