Incredible room, the view was wonderful, very private, staff were lovely and attentive while leaving you alone plenty. Stairs were very steep up and down but it honestly was worth it.

You had to walk about 10 minutes to get to food places but if you get a scooter this isn't a problem And it was steep, which is fine as long as you're prepared!

the villa was comfortable and clean with fantastic views set up in amongst the jungle. the villa is decorated beautifully with a great kitchen, living room with TV and private pool with terrace. we had lots of menus from local restaurants that deliver and the staff were so kind and helpful.

there’s a lot of steps to walk up and down, so if you have mobility issues it might cause a problem, but it’s expected when your villa is set up in the hills with such incredible views of the island and the ocean.

Staff was quick to respond when we had a question or request. The bed was very comfortable, and the balcony had a beautiful view.

It is up a very steep road that not all drivers were keen to go up. it’s a decent walk into town and a bit harder to get deliveries etc.

The view from the apartment was outstanding and the sunsets from the balcony were really the highlight from this place.

It’s quite difficult to get to the apartment: it’s on a hill so it’s very steep. Going down and up was always a hassle (and we are both very fit). So I would only recommend this place to people who are not afraid to climb many stairs and hills to get back to their hotel. It’s also a bit further away from the main restaurants and bars. Other drawback: the wifi was very weak.

The studio was as described in the photos. A great sea view, clean space, and a comfy big bed. In terms of facilities, it was one of the best experiences.

The staff didn't respond to my request for a pickup. She didn't explain much when I was checking in, just threw some papers to read. She was responsive enough via WhatsApp but the replies were very matter-of-fact, didn't feel welcomed. You have to go to another shop down the street to rent a bike and get laundry service. It's not far but unfortunately, they didn't have a bike to rent and refused to take my laundry because the weather wasn't sunny enough although it didn't rain and I had almost two full days until I needed to get my laundry back.

Great view, modern and luxury set-up, Villa with pool highly recommended. Phin is a super nice host - always helpful and here to help. We will return definitely.

We love the view and area design so much. Host was super nice. If you are ok with bike or taxi, ready to order food delivery or eat outside, not afraid of smal cute insects (which is absolutely natural), if you love a little bit of jungles — that would be perfect area. Be ready to drive with a bit of hills, 1,5 km to Sairee beach point. Walk to your apartment on the steps. All this value for those minimalist and insane atmosphere 💔 Perfect place for the island. Good to stay it least 1 week. Suppose it’s gonna be my “easy rest” point for many years.

Really beautiful views including of sunset, excellently placed in Koh Tao to explore (if you have a scooter - if you don’t I would stay on Sairee beach), flexible check out. Great value for money, would recommend. We saw many reviews complaining the property is on a hill. If you have a scooter you can drive all the way up the hill and park at the carpark. Then it’s just a few steps! Minor work out - no issue.

Temperamental shower in terms of water pressure and temperature. Cleaners seem to come in and just make the bed and exchange towels. A few extra touches would make this 10/10 as opposed to 9/10 (eg. we left our water glasses in the sink and the cleaner just left these each day for us to clean.) Really not the end of the world but would add value.

We stayed in Villa 1 and it was absolutely perfect! The beds are comfortable, it's nice and quiet, and the view of the ocean and sunset are spectacular! The staff were wonderful and easy to communicate with, and we loved ordering delivery from the restaurants and just staying in and enjoying the villa. The villa is totally private including the pool area which was very important for us. Highly reccomend this place and I will definitely come back to stay again!

I was not aware how very steep the resort is. There are a lot of very steep steps to the apartment I stayed in. It would not be suitable for elderly or infirm people as there is no other access. Perhaps this should be more noted on the booking sites. The apartment has a kitchenette, so I feel it should have a smoke alarm as a minimum safety item. I was made aware, on Booking.com, that there was no satellite or cable TV. There is an HDD provided, with some movies on it but >90% of them would not play because of their recorded format. The thought was appreciated.

It was a beautiful pool villa. I spent six days at the Plantation and it was worth every cent. After many tiresome day trips, it is the perfect spot to just kick back in the private pool with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the ocean. The rooms, kitchen, living area, and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The beds are so soft and cosy that i felt like a kid sleeping on a cloud. The staff as well as the owner Mr. Rob Bert had provided us with excellent service and were on call to see to any of our needs or queries about the island and its attractions. Friendliness is key and we were met with the warmest of hearts. Will definitely recommend the Plantation.

The path becomes very dark at night so maybe a little more lighting for the on foot trekkers.

Lovely apartments with amazing view over the whole bay. Within short walk to the beach and entertainment, though absolutely quiet at night. The apartment as such is well equipped! For any suggestions, Robert, who runs the apartments, is always available and helps out. I'd stay here again, no doubt.
