Bed linen and especially the towels need to be replaced very old and tired

It’s very spacious, and has everything that you need minus food. Nice and clean and has a homely feel to the place too.

great communication with owners, well located for the coast (5 mins drive), clean

internal decor and furnishings were dated. and we felt there could be more basics supplied - for example there was no cleaning sponge/cloth and only half a loo roll

The welcome notes were very comprehensive. However it might have been useful to know we needed to bring milk, tea, coffee, and sugar. It wasn't a problem as such, as there was a local shop in the village. It is 4 years since we were last able to have a holiday - plus since Covid things have changed!

Lovely location, great cottage and so peaceful - easy access to Alnwick and the coast. It was a perfect base for our family break exploring the area. Lovely friendly owners with great communication. We'll be back!

Easy access, clean, good customer service

More varied kitchen equipment ie large chopping knife, salt and pepper, wooden spoon, more small pans. Kitchen TV didn't work. Table too small to fit 5 chairs under properly. 2 bedrooms v small, no room for wardrobe etc. No info brochures. The village was not the prettiest in parts
