The location was excellent. Swimming pool was lovely (I’m not bothered by it but jacuzzi was out of service). The studio was beautiful and spacious and the breakfast was very nice.

The safe was broken and no staff could fix it despite asking a few times. They also charge extra if you want Fresh towels in the room if staying <4 days.

The location was perfect as at a concert at the arena and came by train. The pool was a good length for a swim.

Fitting around lights by door was broken and table placed in sitting area so the missing chunk on the top was facing me - might never have noticed it if it was turned around. Wasn’t impressed with the food. Burned coating on burger for tea, hot breakfast was colder side of warm, would bring my own food in future. Instruction folder should be out on display not hidden in a random cupboard.

Close by to the CBD of Manchester

The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were very bad only 2 provided. We had breakfast included which the service was very disappointing along with the breakfast very old and stale. Hot chocolates cold!

Really nice building and room. Staff were friendly. Breakfast in the embankment kitchen was delicious. Great value for money.

The food was absolutely gorgeous! We had both an evening meal and the breakfast. The room was spacious, comfy bed and lots of amenities. Very clean also. Great facilities such as pool. All staff were friendly.

Bit loud at night time due to being in a busy part of the city, kept waking up. We also had some loud drunk people walk past our room back to their room early hours of the morning unfortunately.

I liked the location to the shops and restaurants.

Mattress very hard. I now have sciatica down both legs again. Receptionist unhelpful and charged me £15 for an extra duvet to put on top of the mattress ( Manager has since refunded, following a complaint). Staff admitted the booking QR system doesn’t always work for breakfast bookings, leaving some without reservations. Table service but staff too busy to remember drinks. Pool lockers all broken, leaving valuables vulnerable (I can see this has been raised before and not rectified). I wasn’t sure how to obtain clean towels on day two and feel this is something that would be charged extra for. This is not a luxury hotel. It is equivalent to a Premier Inn with a pool (which is fine if that is what is advertised).

Location is great! Bed was comfortable

The apartment wasn’t clean, unfortunately. The floors and tables were stained and sticky (I had to wipe and clean upon arrival as I couldn’t stand the dirt). The couch also had a terrible odour to it, so strong that we were unable to sit on it. I had great expectations for a 5* rated aparthotel, however, I’d say it is more of a 4* instead. Otherwise, everything else was decent.

Great location, fantastic breakfast and pool

Room was very clean. There wasn’t a lot of noise even though the room was next to the lifts. Breakfast was fabulous.

Instructions on where the reception is. I had to wander around the building a bit to find the entrance on arrival. It was dark and raining.

Room was spacious, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was in a good location and the area around the hotel felt safe, even at night. The breakfast was very good although sometimes service was very slow (due to how busy it was); restaurant staff were very nice though! The pool was nice enough but only really useable if you don't mind it very busy.

There were a lot of smallish things that were just a bit disappointing to be honest. First off the shower was next to useless! Basically the water from the shower would travel down the side of the basin and then pour over the side of the shower onto the floor, effectively saturating the mat and flooding the bathroom. I reported this to reception but have no clue as to what was done about it (not that anything probably could) and ended up just putting up with it. The shower head also leaked terribly which was quite annoying. Secondly there were other smaller little annoyances, like some of the lights flickered quite badly, and the light switches were a bit dodgy. There was a corner sofa which was pretty worn and uncomfortable too. All in all quite an underwhelming stay and I'm not sure we'll return next time we're up in Manchester.

The apartment met all our needs the service staff at breakfast were exceptional and the flexibility at breakfast was great rather than the usual buffet style.

One slight improvemnet - - the bed could have been at least a queen rather than a double.

This hotel was superb, probably the best I have stayed in, in this country. The room was amazing, very spacious with a lovely bathroom with a large rain shower. The breakfast was delicious, well cooked with lots of choice. The staff were efficient and made us very welcome. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to the AO Arena but I loved it so much I will definitely be back in the future.

The hotel room was lovely and very spacious, exactly as described the pool and jacuzzi facilities were lovely and calming and very clean.

The breakfast was one of the main downfalls of the hotel , the staff were rude as one of us is a little fussier therefore had a few more questions about the food and they weren’t very co operative regarding this . The keys were also a nightmare as we ended up stuck in the lift for a few minutes as the key didn’t work after we’d gone up with someone else who used theirs therefore we couldn’t then move up to our floor. We were also told a 1pm check out which meant we had a late check out which fortunately we weren’t charged for due to it not being our fault and us figuring this out through checking our booking.com booking email.

Great aparthotel with everything that you need. Very clean, large room and great bathroom!

The restaurant for breakfast looked wonderful however we booked a table for 10.30 and didn’t get our breakfast until 11.20. Although they apologised and offered us something additional to start from the continental menu I was disappointed when it arrived. I waited 50 minutes for one piece of sourdough toast, some avocado and 2 eggs. It was very small and I couldn’t comprehend why it took so long. The staff apologised which was nice but with breakfast coming as part of your stay the restaurant should know how many people to expect in the morning and ensure they can cater for this.

It was perfect! The room was spotless, the bathroom is so gorgeous and the studio overall was really modern and comfortable! The pool was also lovely and the staff were all so helpful, kind and welcoming! Also it is in the perfect location to the city centre!

Not so much a dislike as an inconvenience, but the wait time for breakfast was really long. We entered the restaurant at 9:00am and didn’t leave until 10:55 due to the delay in getting our food. We were forgotten about in the waiting area and then our tables order was skipped from the kitchen, it wasn’t until we asked one of the staff members about our food that they realised we had been sat for all that time with nothing. It was busy and it was an honest mistake made because the staff were rushed off of their feet! And we would never have minded that wait but check out was 11am so it left us rushing quite a bit.

The room was huge for a studio with a lovely sized bed, corner sofa and full kitchen lining one of the walls. There was everything you need for a central manchester stay and it helps have parking right next door which is payable through the hotel!
