Beautiful gardens and pool area. One morning I saw a humming bird, it was surreal. The staff went absolutely above and beyond. We messed up the dates and they arranged a taxi to take us from Leon all the way to Ometepe 3.5hrs away when we missed the last bus. The staff hung up my wet clothes on the line that I left hanging outside the room they were angels. They also had posters for two restaurants offering food delivery which was great when we were tired. Very peaceful, thoroughly enjoyed.

We can’t say enough great things about the incredibly attentive staff. We hope to return! They have a beautiful pool. The City center is 15 minutes walk , but we honestly loved it because we could explore the city and not only the touristic area. Very safe.

Only minor things: Its a rather long walk from town. For the price we would have expected a warm shower.

The rooms are super spacious and clean. The garden is very tranquil and the pool exceptionally clean and lovely. All rules and regulations were conveyed very well - so we knew where we stood. We loved the bikes!

If you are a light sleeper the local stray dogs may cause you some disruption. We had a relentless high pitched dog barking behind our wall for the entirety of our stay. We also had to leave during breakfast time for a volcano tour but were due back before checkout. We asked for some bananas as we were missing breakfast (inc in price) to which we were told no.

We spent 2 nights here Aug 2023 and were very happy with everything about hotel: comfortable beds, great front desk staff, amazing breakfast . They have a nice pool perfect for the hottest hours of the day or to relax reading a book. The room was very clean with air conditioning. They have free bikes rental, thew center is 15 minutes walking.

Must be best one in town. Good service, good rooms, breakfast very good and to choice as well. The pool is very nice and clean. Also the rest of hotel js clean.

Nothing serious. Maybe the location is not too central but they rent bikes for free (up to 4 hours) and walking is only 10 min as well (at night is no problem). So it is just an relative issue.

Our room stunk like smoke which was off-putting. Must have had a smoker in there the day we arrived.

Excelent Hotel, probably one of the best we visited during our trip for cleanliness and friendly staff. They have a beautiful small pool perfect for the hottest hours of the day. Very tasty breakfast. 15 minutes walk from the center, they also have free bikes.

a little oasis in the middle of the city! it’s so beautiful with all of the plants and pool. the staff was SO NICE. everything was clean and we liked that it’s a little outside of the city center so it’s quiet. would definitely stay there again!

Everything! Nicely decorated room, everything worked, attentive staff, good kitchen, great breakfasts (Nica or pancakes), clean & refreshing pool. No noise from the street, no complaints! Great value when you factor in breakfasts, pool + quiet & well equipped kitchen to cook for yourself.

the noise of the neighbor/resident (not guests). random yelling early morning and rooster. the roofs are thin, so easy to hear courtyard ajoining property. earplugs if wanting to sleep past 7am. not the hostels fault.

Lovely guest house a 10 minute walk to town. Simple but tasty breakfast. Clean rooms and kind staff.

loved everything - staff very helpful and polite, Pool the cleanest we have found in Central America, very clean kitchen (maybe lacking one more pot) Rooms are spacious, clean, fan is brilliant even without aircon. breakfast is a nice size to start the day and you have 3 options. only thing is it’s a little further out that some hostels to the square but the bonus is it’s nice and quiet. would 100% stay here again if we were to return!

I stayed 2 different times at the start and end of my trip. both were great! the property has a cute garden area with pool, lovely breakfast options and the room was clean and cozy. the staff are so friendly and helpful! they helped me get a taxi and figure out bus details to get to Managua.

- It is really far from the center and not specifically a nice walk - Quite noisy, thin walls and loud music coming from the karaoke bar on the other side of the street untill late - The aircon kept making horrible noises - Kitchen supplies were a bit limited, so you had to be lucky with timing with other guests. But great we were allowed to use it! - Breakfast was very simple

Al Sole is a really great guesthouse. one of the best we have stayed at in central america. nice sized room with working ac and good wifi 90% of the time. The breakfasts are spot on and the staff were all really friendly. Having access to the kitchen and pool was also great.

We loved our stay but the only minor downside was it sadly wasn’t as quiet as we had hoped at night time. our rooms backed onto some very noisy neighbours next door who made it hard to sleep without ear plugs

Al Sole Guesthouse is a quiet, well maintained and perfectly run guesthouse just outside the city center of León. They have a nice and clean pool, large rooms with or without AC. The kitchen is well equipped and the staff is nice, supportive and always in for a chat.

Al Sole is located outside of the city center. This is a benefit if you like a quiet place but can be a not comfortable if you are not in for a 15 min walk to the city center. As it is located on a direct road to the center you can always grab a (bicycle) taxi or bus.
