Heating turned itself off during the night. The place was cold.

The balcony is wonderful. Security staff were very cheerful. The owner got back to us quickly when we had questions. The bed in the main bedroom was fairly comfortable. There was ample cookware. The beach is lovely to walk on, and the lagoon area is nice, although in mid-March it was mostly too cold to use it.

The beds in the other two bedrooms were not made for adults. They are very short, so two people in our group of four got very little sleep. The solid metal stove burners are so rusted that they barely work. It took over 30 minutes to boil water. The thermostat is locked up, and set to 19 degrees. It was cold and cloudy most of the time we were there, so we spent much of our time huddled up with blankets. Be aware that you need to bring your own towels and soap. This was not made clear in the listing, so we had to walk 2 km to the store to buy some. The location is set in a condo wasteland. The nearest restaurant is over 2 km. away, a very dull walk. There is a little, and expensive minimarket on site, but otherwise you have to go 2 km to get any groceries. Without a car, you can feel pretty trapped. Wifi doesn't work at all in the bedrooms or on part of the balcony. It grinds to a halt everywhere when more than one person tries to use it at a time. This was by far our worst value for money in our three weeks in Chile. Key collection was easy, but there is a two step process to open the door. You have use the key, then use a code on a touch pad. The touchpad is electronic, and you have to touch it in order to get numbers to appear. Unfortunately, there is a knack to touching it to get the numbers to appear, and we probably spent 10 minutes trying to get something to happen with the touchpad the first time.
