The breakfast was embarassing! There was a dry sandwich minimal fruit and only tea and coffee, would have been better off not serving breakfast. Not what you'd expect from a 4* estsblishment

Wasnt cleaned that often and noisy guests late in to the night. No air conditioning despite temperatures getting in to the 30s. Had to reset the key everytime we left the hotel which was annoying

the breakfast is not bad, it’s awful! so bad that I didn’t even bother to get it after the first day. seems like a bus type breakfast. my room didn’t have AC.

so dirty, the room was smaller than what I contracted and the staff rude and helplessly, I couldn’t make them understand that my room was not the same and also they didn’t give any towels for pool usage, anyway the pool was disgustingly dirty

The location is really good. They allow you to use the swimming pool at any time. It's a quiet and a safe place. The buildimg is beautiful.

The beds are old and they're a bit uncomfortable and noisy. The bathroom needs to be cleaned in a better way.

I liked the location, just a few blocks from the town center, the room was nice overlooking the pool area from the 3rd floor. The staff was friendly, some are bilingual. For me communication was okay. If you want to get the feel of La Serena, this is where you want to locate yourself, to move around see the day to day life of the people. The beach is about a mile away. Knowing some Spanish would be a plus. All and all, I would do this again.

If you read the internet, you will know there is protests. The main boulevard during the evening and night is to be avoided. However, the location of the hotel is safe and secure. The police have patience with the protests and protect the business and pleasure areas. This not a condemnation of the hotel and it's location. Be aware of what time during the day you do things and you will enjoy this stay.
