Wir haben dieses geräumte Grundstück 2015 auf einem alten Skiberg gekauft. Das NH-Blockhaus wurde 2016 errichtet. Wir haben einen Grundriss erstellt und ihn erweitert und an den aktiven Berglebensstil angepasst. Die Küche verfügt über ein Spülbecken auf dem Bauernhof sowie Arbeitsplatten aus gegossenem Beton. Der umwandelbare Küchentisch ist Holz aus der UNH-Holzmühle. Die Küchengeräte wurden für eine Familie gekauft, die gerne kocht und isst. Die Badezimmer wurden von dem Ehepaar entworfen und gebaut, um das Gefühl der Kabine zu berücksichtigen. Die Betten wurden mit Restholz gebaut. Warmwasser ist ein bedarfsgesteuertes System. Einige der Skiträger in der Kabine stammen von den alten Skiern ihrer Kinder.

It was just as advertised. As others have said, just be sure you know that there is no AC or microwave. The oven’s toaster feature is quick and works perfectly. Nice, quick trip to NH!

The house is in great condition with all the amenities and clean. Only complaint is the hardness of the mattresses.

This cabin was wonderful! While it didn't have ac there were plenty of fans provided. The kitchen is stocked with nice supplies for cooking. The location is convenient to everything but still very quiet.

Cabin has everything you would need in a rental property. Just fyi no microwave and W/D isn’t hooked up which I overlooked while booking the property.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great kitchen and much appreciation for the chilled beer glasses! The location is wonderful. The cabin was very clean overall except for a towel that was left hanging in the upstairs bathroom. There isn’t air conditioning but we had beautiful weather so that wan’t an issue. A washer and dryer would be a nice addition. We didn’t take advantage of it but the finished basement with ping pong table and other games would be great for a longer stay. My suggestion to the owners would be to provide guests with a clear checklist for checking out instead of scattering those details within the welcome letter. This is a wonderful cabin and highly recommend.

The place was very clean and organized! There was plenty of kitchen items (dishes, cutlery etc). The design was unique. My kids enjoyed the loft area and the board games. I absolutely admired and appreciated that there was no TV in the unit which forced us to spend quality family time. We accidentally left a few things and the host is so kind that she mailed it to me. Her thoughtfulness touched my heart. She was very responsive to all my texts. We would love to come back again!

The cabin was a great place to relax, prepare for, and run the Mt. Washington Road Race. The neighborhood was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen and living spaces allowed us to cook our own meals and gather with friends.

My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely log cabin in Jackson, NH. We were impressed with how solid and well-built the cabin is. The decor is simple and unique. As others mentioned, the 2 downstairs beds have very firm mattresses. An extra blanket on each for warmth as the nights get colder would be nice. The location is convenient, yet private and quiet. The owners have made it easy to know what to expect and their " house rules " are reasonable. We would stay there again.

Nice cabin very clean host left very good instructions unfortunately had to leave after one night of a 3 night reservation beds were a little to hard to sleep on maybe if I was younger it would have been ok otherwise it was just has described

Great log cabin home in a nice neighborhood with beautiful views of Mt. Washington at end of road. Cabin and everything in it was clean and neat. I Loved the kitchen & Our child loved the loft area! Gas wood stoved made for cozy warm evening. Loved the rustic look of the whole cabin inside.. Nice variety of games including ping-pong table in basement. Loved the wildflowers all over and the fire pit in the backyard. No regular coffee pot but Used the French press for the first time, & loved the experience. Everything about it was great. The only thing I would add is a bigger couch for more room to sit for comfortable seating. The mattresses are pretty firm/hard which made it hard to get comfortable. Maybe add pillow topper? :)

Everything was fantastic. The house was clean, neighborhood has great views and is quiet but close to many of the attractions in the area.
Rustic enough to disconnect but modern enough to not feel like your are roughing it at all. The cabin is beautiful inside and out and really well done.
The basement access was super convenient for storing all of our outdoor gear, bike gear, etc.
Absolutely would recommend and will be the first place we check availability next time we're heading to the area.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay! Perfect place for all of us! My kids (4.5 & 2) loved the walking the path and looking at all the wildflowers and upstairs loft! My kids also made a new friend with the beautiful golden retriever who lives across the street :)
We were prepared for no microwave and French press coffee, so no issues there. Very comfortable sleeping in the beds and we really appreciated the cleanliness of the property as well as the renter guidelines and rules to ensure the property’s pristine condition. We value that when renting.
We spent our time at Storyland, Santa’s village, the falls, and exploring cool restaurants and shops. We spent 3 nights. Having no washer and dryer was fine for us for 3 nights, however with small kids it might be difficult for longer stays.
Kitchen was well stocked. My only feedback might be to change where the dishes are placed. It was a little difficult getting to them in the corner cabinet with all of the other kitchen gear. We thought maybe stacking them on those shelves where the glasses are held, might make it easier to get to. Not a huge deal at all, just our feedback.

We loved staying here while we visited Story Land and Living Shores Aquirium. The kids loved the upstairs portion where they played games that were provided. The basement had a table tennis setup which we also enjoyed. It was very well kept and neat, we would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Second visit up to this property. Close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like you are alone. The house is amazing with so much to do inside and out. Puzzles and games to keep the little one entertained.
Always kept clean with anything you need.
The icing on the cake is the ice cold glasses in the freezer waiting for your drink. Can’t wait to go next year

None of us wanted to leave
Beautiful cabin with excellent proximity to kids-friendly activities in the area. We are two families of three, two kids under five. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. We love to cook, and were able to find the tools we needed to do so (which helped with our vacation food costs). Our stay overlapped with a heat wave, with fans in the windows we all slept comfortably. Kids loved playing with Lincoln Logs and the tennis table. Very close to Jackson Falls and Storyland, we wish we had more time to visit the Aquarium, too! North Conway is a short drive away for folks who enjoy the vacation shopping experience. Heather was super communicative over VRBO messaging and text, too. We would definitely love to come back again in the future. The biggest challenge of our stay was getting two littles to get to sleep each night after their fun-filled days!

Great log cabin!
Our family had a great time at this property. It was perfect for our family of 4 and the kids enjoyed staying up in the loft. The house was extremely clean and the novelty of the log cabin was very cozy for a fall weekend. We would definitely rent this home again.

Woodland getaway
We spent three nights at the cabin with two children ages 4 and 7. They loved the ping pong table and the loft. Cabin was well equipped. We were prepared for no microwave and no coffee maker, so that wasn’t a problem. We loved the wildflowers growing around the property and the emphasis on eco friendly items. Would book again.

August NH family trip
We loved this cabin! It was so clean and nice. My boys loved sleeping in the loft and they loved the bungee chairs. There is no microwave so plan accordingly. We didn’t realize it until we got there. It did not say there is a microwave so it was totally on us! The wildflowers in the yard are beautiful and the fire pit outside was so nice. The ping pong table was also a huge hit with my boys. We’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin
We loved our stay in this cabin. It was clean, well-stocked (well, except for an electric coffee maker), and comfortable. There’s a coffee shop right at the bottom of the hill, and my son really loved the games and ping pong table provided in the cabin. There’s no TV, so plan on unwinding if you stay here. Definitely recommend!

Mountain Getaway
Our family enjoyed this cabin in the mountains for a long weekend getaway to unplug and explore the local trails. Conveniently located to access many trails, restaurants, and local attractions while still remaining private and quiet during down time. Our 4y/o son really enjoyed the loft and claimed it as his own private place to relax/play. Easy communication with the owners throughout. Everything was very clean including the grill (big plus)! Unfortunately due to elevated fire risk we chose not to have a fire while there, but the process to request a permit was easy. We hope to return to the area/cabin soon.

Wonderful Weekend in the White Mountains!
This was a wonderful experience for our family. We stayed for two nights while hiking in the White Mountains and enjoyed it very much. It was especially pleasant that Heather and Ed keep eco-friendly and non toxic soaps and cleaning supplies on hand! The kitchen was well stocked and we managed to cook most of our food on the outdoor fire! Overall, the attention to detail was phenomenal and everything seemed thought out for a perfect stay! We hope/plan to be back soon!
