We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this rental. We were in town for an event and traveling with our pups. We all enjoyed the lake view in the morning and making a fire in the fire pit in the evening. Everything was as pictured or better. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

The house was perfect in the location was fantastic. Being able to get in and out of the lake was exactly what we wanted.

We were staying for a wedding and the location was great. We enjoyed the huge lawn and dock. it was the perfect size and very clean and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again!

This is the BEST place for a fishing trip! Everything is great even if it's raining or the fish aren't biting! Beautiful views and excellent location.

The house was perfect for our needs. The kids loved the paddle boat and hosts had clean life jackets in various sizes available.

We stayed here two weeks to visit family, sightsee and to boat and fish on High Rock Lake. The place was very clean and well stocked with supplies to make the stay easy and comfortable. We especially appreciated the easy flat walk to the boat dock as my mom's walking isn't good. The covered back deck was great for hanging out and viewing the cove. We enjoyed day trips to Old Salem in Winston -Salem, Charlotte, and Greensboro (Civil Rights and Guilford National Military Park). There are two marinas on the lake for fuel (only one was open on weekdays given the off season.). Fishing was fairly slow during our stay but we did see other bass boats and fishermen on the lake. We saw in the cabin notebook that others had more fishing success. While the road in front wasn't super busy, I drove to the nearby Dan Nicholas Park for 4 mile runs. It is a great park and would recommend that you visit it when you stay at Crane Creek Haven. We were "remote challenged" to get to the cable stations and Terry & Susan came over and helped us sort out the 3 remotes. They deserve an A+ for their efforts, lake information and help with our stay! We enjoyed using the washer and dryer which is below the deck in a separate building. Overall, we thought the place was great and would recommend it to others.

Loved our time at the lake house! A very nice & relaxing time. Enjoyed being right on the water & watching the leaves turn colors throughout the week. Also enjoyed our campfire! Spent time at the nearby Dan Nicholas Park practicing pickleball & taking walks around the lake. That is such a cool park - so many things to do. Susan & Terry were very helpful & there for anything we needed.

We had an amazing time!! This property was exactly what we were looking for, relaxing, quiet, and a beautiful water view! The owners are extremely nice and easily available if we needed them. I was worried about getting the pontoon boat under the Goodman Lake road bridge but we had no problems. September is also a great time to go, there was hardly any boat traffic on the water. I can’t wait to go back!!

My husband and I & our dogs stayed here for our anniversary. We had a great time on the lake and the peaceful environment. It was very relaxing and our dogs enjoyed themselves too.

Peace and quiet. It's hard to find these days. Well we've found it here. We stay here twice a year every year and we love it. Our fur babies do as well.

This place is so lovely; the pictures truly do not do it justice! It's fresh and clean. It's also very well stocked, even with a few herbs, oil, and paper towels. The grill is incredible and the A/C works wonderfully. My husband caught around 15 fish right off the dock his first day here! Bass, crappie, and blue gill. This will be our go to place whenever we plan to be in this area again. One more thing, Susan, the host was so accommodating, ensuring our stay was perfect Thank you, Susan, for your hospitality and opening up your beautiful cottage for us to use! Highly recommend!!!

I don't think there are enough superlatives to describe this property. The cottage is spotless and is equipped with probably everything you might need. The location is amazing. Spent countless hours watching hawks, herons, egrets, ducks, and geese roam/fly over the yard. Porch/deck is very deep so you can even sit outside when it rains. Highly recommended!

Went for a weekend on the lake and water. Boat access right in the back yard and a fire pit with a dock to fish from. Great experience. Looking forward to coming back.

Small charming house, great for a weekend getaway with your partner. Large enough to for a family or another couple. We enjoyed the outside area just as much as the inside. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Large backyard for any occasion. Beautiful view to the lake in a semi-private location. Absolutely recommend this property.
