The place is close to the train, which is loud early in the morning (I woke up at 6:30) So might not be the place for you if you don't like to get up early

This Place is AMAZING!! Malika and her husband are the most welcoming persons ever. Such a heartwarming place, super well located in Midigama in a beautiful street 2 minutes away from the ocean. They have a stunning garden with coconut trees and many plants where you can chill. Malikas breakfast is Sri Lankan food as authentic as it can be - we will never forget that experience and are super greatfull for these days. We highly recommend this home stay with a cute, super super clean room and private bathroom. The two great surf spots are just around the corner and Malika and her husband will try everything to make your stay perfect. Thank you again for the last days, we will come back for sure!!!

The location is perfect for people who like surfing (directly next to lazy left/right surf spot) or people who just wanna be in a nice, calm area with a beautiful beach only 200m away. Mallika and her husband are wonderful people, I had a really nice stay and would recommend everybody to go here! I‘ll definitely come back :)

Malika and her husband are two very fine and nice people! You feel very homie with them! Everything is very clean and the local breakfast she makes is absolutely amazing! We would very much recommend to stay with them, in case you are searching for a calm and peaceful environment! :)

Gem villa really made our trip. We felt so at home instantly. They are such a lovely couple, very caring and kind. The garden is beautiful and Malika cooks delicious food! I would really recommend others to stay here.

I left Gem Villa today with a heavy heart. I stayed for 4 nights only, but it already feels like a home away from home. Mallika and her Husband are so so kind, I feel very appreciative for them welcoming me into their house. You can ask them for breakfast and dinner, and they will provide with yummy homecooked meals. You will surely not be left hungry. The house is very clean, and the bed was comfy. Maybe the bed is a bit small if it's for 2 big people. The location in close to the beach, near the Crazy Right Surfspot of Midigama. Walk for 10 min to get to the renting boards place which is in front of Lazy Left.
