This place is amazing. Beautiful unspoilt view of Monkey Forest to see the monkeys and wildlife in the morning. Komang and Kadek were so kind, helpful and welcoming. Great room, big bed, lovely pool and breakfast area. Great location and really quiet due to being on the edge of the centre.

Had such a great stay here that we even extended! The room was clean and large, the bed was comfy, and the scenery outside the room was so peaceful and relaxing. The included breakfast is also such a nice touch!

Most important - very friendly, kind and helpful staff. Every single one of them was nice to me and my missus, willing to assist with our enquiries. They made this stay special. Room was cleaned everyday to high standards. Basic, but tasty breakfast was included in hotel price. Extremely close to all local amenities as well as monkey forest. Location and the view from balcony were brilliant.

The location is great and the relaxing rice fields and trees with monkeys in the background make it very relaxing. My room was huge with a very comfy bed and balcony.

There was a large amount of mould in the bathroom and in the room ceiling so I woke up feeling unwell from it.

We had a pleasant stay at the carik bisma. The staff is super friendly and the location is great to explore Ubud. The whole facility is pretty basic, which didn't bother us, as its still clean and the view from the rooms is beautiful. We would come again.

Very peaceful but still close to some nice restaurants and spas. We only stayed 2 nights but the room was large ,clean and well designed. Fridge in room was great. Nice staff

Location is OK, 10-15 minutes walk to the main Ubud street. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. They will do a daily house keeping. Staff is friendly.

Bathroom needs proper cleaning especially the sink. Towels are a bit overly used. Requested a clean up for the bathroom and new clean towels on 2nd day, came back from a long day to find nothing was done, even one towel removed from the floor folded and put on bed Warm water takes around 4-5 mins till you can get it from the shower.

Great stay with Carik Bisma family. Everyone was kind, smiling and always helpful. Every evening we were asked with enthusiasm and interest what we did that day. The rooms are basic, comfortable, and best of all, cooly air conditioned. Water pressure was good and water hottest in the mornings. Basic breakfast of juice, coffee, fruit plate and egg options with toast are included and a great way to kick off the day. The location is ideal because it's at the south end of Bisma, which means you can walk to the Monkey Forest in 10 minutes, or north on Bisma to the palace in 20 minutes. We walked everywhere around central Ubud because the location is ideal. You will be certain to see monkeys every morning due to the proximity to the Monkey Forest. The pool is well kept but we never took a dip during our 4 week stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and recommend for the value, location and friendly staff.

Location is beside monkey forest which is in the center of Ubud. The place is very quiet and romantic. The view from room is to the rice field which made it an amazing view. Staff are very kind and polite and the place is super clean.

Loved staying here. Such comfortable beds. Lovely balconies. Lovely pool. Super close to market / Main Street/ coffee shop. The staff are amazing can’t do enough for you! they even made us a flask of hot water to have our tea one night 😊 Just to note you can walk to the main town of Ubud down a motor bike road, but for taxis they have to go the long way around! not an issue but just to note! We did have one bold monkey who stole our crisps but the owners and staff had to chase them away but it was quiet exciting!

Removed from bustle of Ubud .. back yard is private rice field with an array of monkeys trying to eat their rice. I love to walk so all was perfect for me regarding proximity. Kind and gentle owners . Breakfasts were a tad bland but fresh juices and coffee were great. there’s a nice pool (I didn’t use) overlooking their rice field. Very clean and the bed was awesome . Highly recommended .

We have stayed in this hotel for alkomat 3 weeks (some kind of workation). We liked this place so much! We changed our room after few days, but both were good: big enough, clean, bathroom was also clean, balcony with view over Monkey Forest and very comfortable bed. We didn’t use swimming pool very often but it was also clean and good for relax. Breakfast was simple but very good: balinese cofee, pancakes, fresh juices and eggs in variety. We are so grateful also for very nice staff- all were so nice and helpful. They organized food during Nyepi. What is amazing, you dont have to go to Monkey Forest- monkeys come to you very often! But they are not dangerous. Localization also is very good-close to restaurants, laundry, to the centre of Ubud is about 20 minutes by walk.

The staff and family who owned the hotel were lovely. The rooms were cleaned daily. Hot shower and good internet. The breakfast was also good, with fresh fruit and basic breakfast menu. The location was great only a few minutes walk to some lovely restaurants, and fantastic day spa..... just set off the main road and away from the busy Monkey Forest Road. The Monkey Forest was only a 10 minute walk away. I walked to the Yoga Barn most days which was a 20 minute walk if you are happy walking. Great little hotel, I enjoyed my stay.

Great location in the city. Walking distance to restaurants bars and markets and also, it's off the main road so it's quiet and relaxing. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are cleaned every day, and the beds are really comfy. Can't fault this hotel

Very nice Hotel and very friendly Owners. Everything was great, the view of the monkey forest over the rice terraces was super nice. A small beautiful idyllic place to relax. we loved it and would love to come back!
