Jane is an amazing host and everything about the stay was perfect. If we come back to Camiguin we will definitely repeat there :)

It's clean and comfortable. Love the availability of things in the kitchen since we love To cook. It was a peaceful stay

Henry and his lovely wife are greats persons and they are all the time offered to give a hand with a smile on their faces. They also have a Motorbikes rental service with so good quality/price balance. Furthemore, they are animal lovers, having there many aquariums and all kind of birds. What more to say about an owners that recive you with a pair of cold beers and a hug. We have spent a great days in Mountain View Cotagges.

Friendly owners. Quiet place with fridge, hot plate etc in each which is nice if you are there for more than a few days. Nice atmosphere, plants, birds and fish tanks as well as fish ponds. The larger cottages for a few hundred extra peso’s provide more comfort and space. Henry also has cheap well maintained motorbikes for rent.

A nice place and tidy garden and cottages. Here you will have the same feeling of stay as when you visit your distant relatives or friends. WiFi in cottages, pentry, bathroom and all you need is here. Kitchen utensils are available and making your own food is possible. About a 10 minutes ride on motorbike from mambajao center, also really really close to some restaurants, stores (checkpoint) and the ocean, 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes on motorbike. There are motarellas, tricabs and jeepneys passing main road down the street, so going to center is no problem, though the owner provides motorbike for rental really affordable, and this makes the stay super easy. Owner is Canadian and super friendly, talkative and helpful. Peaceful place where you will not be disturbed by vendors or others. I recommend and will stay again if I go for camiguin again.

Nothing negative. For me, this place suited me and my needs perfect. I am the type that appreciate my own privacy and choices for next move, also I appreciate not to have cleaning staff going through my stuff every day. So I can't personally say anything negative here,but there are people who expect to be pampered all days by staff bowing for them, and enjoy having housemaid cleaning the room every day. This group of people Might maybe become disappointed about the no pampered style, but the owner makes sure that you will have all you need and a comfortable stay. Personally I was all happy with this place.

Henry was an excellent host for us, myself, my fiance and five friends. We booked 3 cottages for our group. Henry clearly takes pride in the presentation of his cottages and the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There are also some beautiful budgies and pond fish to enjoy. I cannot recommend this property strongly enough, and should we return to Camiguin Island at any future time we shall book at these cottages again. The rooms are large and (if you choose to do so) the cooking facilities allow full meal preparation. The location is quiet and we felt very relaxed the whole time with the cottages situated far enough from each other that privacy is assured. Lastly, we are very thankful for Henry allowing us the use of his beautiful gardens for some pre nuptial photo shooting, we have some really good photos and video, thanks mate

There isn't anything not to like about this property. There is only one thing I might ask of Henry, knock down the ugly (never to be finished) building next door so we can all enjoy the mountain view ;)

Beatiful location and beautiful Mountain view resort with beautiful garden & fish pond. Having our own kitchen, gas stove, full size fridge & cooking utensils & dishes made a big difference. There’s fish vendors passing by the street and we get to buy & cook for our meal. There’s restaurant right accross the street.

Weather was not in our favor, it was in January and so it rained quite a bit.

Not much selfcatering accommodation in the Philippines so this was nice change up. Helpful hosts.

We booked another place, had to move here and it was the best decision possible: this place is just amazing, everything was perfect! The location, the room, the bed, the shower, the kitchen and even the garden to allow you to enjoy your own cooked food or just a rainy day (quite common here).

The location is quite good, close to most of the spots. The owner is very helpful and nice, he gives you very good advice to go around the island. You can rent scooters there which is very convenient. In general, the place is lovely and confortable - totally recommended

It was a too short visit :(

Great base location for hiking Mt. Hibok-Hibok and going to the usual tourist spots. I was able to save on food by cooking my own meals with the fully equipped kitchen. Rooms are very spacious too, with your own balcony/porch and a place to hang wet clothes outside. Henry and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have done a wonderful job in taking care of the rooms, the garden, and the animals on the grounds. Truly enjoyed my stay!

Faulty air conditioner, which wasn’t a very big issue for me since the weather was cool and the room had a fan.

We stayed 4 days in September 2022 in this cottage with a kitchen. The kitchen has a kitchen to cook your own meals, a market and shops near this cottage. There is air conditioning and a fan. The Internet is weak, but there. The territory is clean, the atmosphere is calm, you can rent a scooter, the cost is 300 pesos and go to the waterfalls and go around the whole island. There is no safe in the cottage. There is a bedroom, shower/toilet and kitchen. Clean linen, towels and toiletries are also provided. Friendly hostess) I recommend to stay)

poor Wi Fi

We love the tranquillity of the place. It's clean, cosy and welcoming. It doesn't feel like we're tourists here, it feels like we have a home; having a kitchen to make fresh home meals the ambience of a warm home.

Haha it's just that it's hard to extend the accommodation on the spot but understandable the place is in demand for tourists like us.

The absolutely stunning garden and the good location, just in walking distance to some nice restaurants and small stores, makes it a very good choice for your stay at Camiguin Island! I almost forgot to mention the fully equipped kichten area, the big fridge , the excellent internet connection, and the nice motor bikes (scooter) they rent for a very affodable price...

My stay with Mountain View Cottages made my whole stay in Camiguin as one of my best solo backpacking adventures to date. Henry is such a great host and was very helpful with just everything and he is very approachable. His prices are way cheaper than everyone else. The accommodation is neat, organize and very clean. The kitchen is fully equip of whatever you need, The room and bathroom are spacious and hot shower is available. It's one of the places that you get much more of what you paid for. They have a nice garden, location is 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and groceries, quiet and away from the main road. Its near to all the tourist spots of Camiguin. You can walk your way to where the boats going to White Island are situated. No words to describe how I enjoyed my stay in Mountain View Cottages. It exceeded my expectations by 10 folds. If I am going back to Camiguin I will definitely stay here again.

It was a decent room

When we arrived there were a bunch of ants crawling on the bed. That was the only bad thing that’s worth complaining about. Also the owner was drunk when we arrived but he turned out to me a nice guy the rest of our stay.

Awesome place to stay in Camiguin Island, You have all you need including kitchen, big and confortable bed, good wifi, the terrace with a gorgeous garden... The resort shows the love and dedication that the owners putted building up this place.
