Location was great. We had an event at The Convention Centre and it was easy walking distance.

Food. We returned just prior to 10pm and were told both restaurant kitchens were closed. It was a Saturday night. At reception we were told we could get food and beverage upstairs at the bar area.

Clean and nice atmosphere, comfortable bed, kind staffs, and convenient location

Tea kettle was rusty inside so we requested another one, which was in a similar condition. There was noise coming from the ceiling, which sounded like something is running around…

We really enjoyed the Club Lounge Access which includes breakfast, afternoon tea & canapés / happy hour. So was well worth it adding that to our stay! We also really appreciated the personable service provided by Savas! What an asset he is to The Intercontinental 😊

Would be lovely if they had a pool, however can understand this is not possible at this building/location. The rooms were also much smaller than anticipated, and considering we paid $780 for a 1 night stay we were also disappointed we didn’t even get a city view.

One thing only, and that is no in-house movies. Really, in this day and age and in a hotel of this calibre, free to air tv only is pretty cheap. Come on guys, most motels at half the price offer Foxtel and/or Netflix, rise to the occasion.....

Location was ok

Shower smelt like dust and mould. Vent in shower had dust piled up in it. Staff weren't very informative especially in regards to parking. We were told to park in wilsons parking and they would vailidate ticket. Wilsons parking was non ticketless so how do you validate?? Was cheaper to pay ourselves anyways. Upon check in we couldn't understand staff as language was hard to understand so had no idea where breakfast was to be in the morning or where loft bar was. Location was ok but honestly getting to the hotel is hard as only one way and no one provided info regarding parking before stay. Rooms are expensive for what they are. Wont stay again. 560 for room 30 for parking over rated and way too expensive. One bottle of water in room for 2 people.

There was a footprint on the sheet on the day I checked in. Since it’s late at night, I called staff and asked to get it changed the other day. Also the tissue was not filled up after next day’s housekeeping, I had to call again to request. The view of the room was the worst, I could only see the building next to the hotel out of my window which was very close.

Could not fault this hotel, the service, staff, room and food were fantastic. The beds were so comfortable and the rain shower in the bathroom was hard to leave behind! Will definitely stay again.

Very clean and nice looking rooms. Lovely fresh fragrance throughout the hotel. Hotel staff were warm and friendly, always happy to assist.

Had issues with self parking in Wilson parking that were outside of the hotel staff control, due to an unforeseen incident. Hot water system wasn’t working on one of the mornings, so I had to settle for an ice cold shower. Hotel apologised for the inconvenience. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly on occasion. When using the bathroom sink, there was a slight whirring noise. I booked a premium king corner room, however the corner faces directly into the outside wall of another building. This is not worth the additional cost incurred for booking a corner room.

The location is in the central of city, closed to shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly . The facilities are quite new .
