well maintained close to beach and downtown

Forty winks is a throwback to another era-kitschy and bright-from the outside. inside, the vacation rental is modern 2022! The beautifully update unit was clean, nicely decorated and so comfortable. The kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave and teo conduction plates for any cooking you might want to do. A nice bar area with chairs and a comfy couch and tv finish the main room. The bedroom was large with a king bed, nice wardrobe and tv. Charging units for electronics were on each bed stand. Bathroom was also nicely set up and unbelievably clean. We would absoluetly stay again.

Great location with restaurants and nice park within walking distance. Room was nice and clean.

We came to just explore the area. Great location. Close to town. Great beach right scraps the road. JJ’s Pizza and Steak is best place to eat in town. Great hiking north of town.

The location and property were great for our small family of 3. Downtown Alpena was a nice 20 minute stroll, the beach with playground and splashpad were across the road. There were great eats all within a short walk too. Check-in was easy.

Good location for quiet getaway. Lak, beach, mini golf across the street and amazing food one building away. Clean property.
