The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Admittedly we were out a lot, but it had absolutely everything I and my three children needed for a very enjoyable holiday. I would stay there again without hesitation.

The only thing I would say is that Okehampton itself doesn’t have a lot going on. Against that, it’s in a central location in Devon and is a good base - so that really is nit-picking!

Lovely cottage in quiet location

The outside areas needed some love and attention which was disappointing.

Beautiful, quiet, rural location - woods, walking trails and Okehampton all within walking distance. Views from the cottage are great. Comfortable beds. Second bathroom was very handy.

A great place to stay, but if I have to find something negative I'd say the lack of a dishwasher and the slightly dated feel (although the VHS player was a happy blast from the past!)

Location on the edge of the moors was great with fantastic walks and cycles around. It was only a 20 minute walk into town which does not have a great selection of pubs (probably impacted by COVID right now) but does have a great selection of supermarkets and local farm shops around. The cottage was in a pretty location with great views and had a lovely light bedroom. The host had thoughtfully provided good info in the cottage.

The hosts have done what they can but it is a little dark downstairs. The kitchen is a little old fashioned but well equipped.
