Very relaxing week. We visited family and friends while there and also did a little gambling at Mt. Airy. Restaurants (good ones) are hard to find.
Watch your step when walking to the lake - lots of rocks, roots and deer poop.

Our family (4 adults and 1 8 year-old child) spent 6 days/nights at the Chalet. It suited our needs perfectly.
The cabin was exceptionally clean, and provided for all our needs including sheets, towels, kitchen accessories, even paper towels and tissues. We had some chilly days, so were happy to curl up with of some of the throw blankets in the living room.
Even though we had some cool and rainy days we made extensive use of the dock, boats, lake and campfire ring. All of our family were out at the lake, on the deck or in the yard each day and night. Since it was cool we did not visit the community pools. We had great fun feeding local wildlife including deer and Canadian Geese - both of which let us feed them from our hands. If you are staying for a few days, run over to Walmart and get a bag of deer food(loose corn kernels) - I assure you that you will be richly rewarded. What a special wildlife experience.
Kasia was wonderful, responding quickly to each email inquiry, and even providing me with some local polish grocery recommendations. We treated ourselves to homemade pierogi and kielbasa. What a treat!
We look forward to visiting again another time - perhaps in the winter when we can take advantage of local skiing.

Such a nicely appointed, well-stocked property. I have slight mobility problems so the walk-in shower and the easy stroll to the lake dock (great for fishing!) were appreciated. Very clean with comfortable furnishings. I would definitely return for another stay.

This is not our first time staying here & it won't be our last. The home has a great view & access to the lake. It is well supplied; even our dog was thought of with a dog bed, dishes & some treats. You are not far from many things to do including visiting Tobyhanna Park, Mt Airy Casino & a nearby Water Park. You can also just relax by the lake or enjoy the wildlife that visit. Kasia is very quick to respond to any questions & was quick to resolve a minor house issue. We will definitely be coming back!

My family and I stayed at this Chalet for the Thanksgiving holiday and I can’t rave enough about this place. Kasia was super responsive and communicated everything clearly and in a timely manner. I walked with pots, pans and utensils to cook our Thanksgiving meal and I didn’t have to because the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed! There were games for my kids, smart tv with apps to login to your streaming service to keep them occupied, though we didn’t need it much because we spent so much time outside fishing from the dock, and making s’mores over the campfire outside. The host provided plenty of wood to get us started. After a long day, cozying up by the pellet stove was a nice reward. The home was clean and exactly as described, and the views of the lake were spectacular. The perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend with the family. I will definitely return. Thank you, Kasia for providing such a great place and for being an amazing host!

We had an excellent stay. Having access to the lake and a quiet space to relax were the highlights. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. We would love to come back in Summer and enjoy the lake even more.

Very welcoming and cozy cabin right on the lake. Cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It is centrally located to numerous outdoor winter activities (ice skating, snow shoeing, tubing, skiing, and more) and food and shopping were close by as well. The house was extremely pet friendly and my husband and I along with our two dogs had a blast playing and hiking in the snow! We hope to return and highly recommend staying at this place if you enjoy the outdoors and nature.

Lovely property on the edge of a small lake with nature trees and a fire pit. Plenty of wildlife. 6 deer walked through the property and bedded down in the neighbors yard. Kitchen well stocked. Kasia was excellent with her communication.
The check in process was a bit tedious, but not oppressive, at the welcome center where they require each vehicle entering the property to show registration and driver’s license to get a security pass. We checked in on a Friday evening, and there was a significant number of people doing the same. I would stay again.

Once a year we get together and just have a blast with no kids or spouse's. This year it was so nice my brother eould grab coffee and go sit on the dock, it was a dream come true. We had the neighborhood deer stop by and many other animals, we usually don't but I can see us coming back to spend the mini vaca there again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful lakeside property. This is located inside an HOA area that has some serious efforts to only allow entry of only approved people. I see this as a GOOD THING. If you follow the owners guide it's "a piece of cake". The owner is VERY prompt on all inquires, and I felt the home was exceptionally appointed. We are a single couple with a small well behaved dog who used the comfortable king bed. There were accommodations for more, but you will need to review these to see if it works for you. There was a dock and fire pit should you want to use, but we didn't. We loved having coffee on the front porch which receives the morning sun with our dog. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. We especially liked Mi Casa a Spanish restaurant that serves Mexican as well, and the expensive Japanese restaurant Desaki (tons of food). We were 1st time renters on Verbo, but the experience was wonderful.

We take our dog on one vacation every year and this place was by far the most dog friendly. There were dog bowls, a bed and treats there for my baby to use. We enjoyed swimming in the lake from the dock and enjoyed a bunch of the close activities throughout the week. The host was super responsive. We had a fire every night and relaxed on the deck. I highly recommend anyone taking their pup on vacation with them, this is a great place to stay!

My husband and I and our 2 great danes had a lovely long weekend here. The house was clean and has everything you need to be comfortable. We did a little fishing off the dock and caught a few sunnies, blue gill and bass. Beautiful setting right on the lake!

Kasia was amazing to communicate with and was extremely responsive to all messages. The house was very cozy, just big enough for our family of 4 and two dogs - there were even dog bowls, treats and a bed for them! The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook in each day.
The lake was nice and relatively quiet during the week, but if you are looking for a secluded get away, this may not be the place to go. The houses are right on top of each other and if you have a noisy (or stinky) neighbor it can effect your time. We only had to deal with that for 2 of our 5 days. There are lots of activities for the kids to do; swimming pool and paddle boats a short bike ride away, in addition to the boats provided by the owner.
If I were to give any feedback it would be to offer a kayak or two and a couple of places to lounge outside (hammock, lounge chair, etc...). Overall this was a fantastic vacation and the house was otherwise perfect.

This home is very welcoming. Even our dog was supplied dishes, treats & a bed. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed comfortable & the lake view magnificent. Sitting on the dock or viewing the lake from the deck or house was very relaxing. We didn't use the boats but might on future visits. It was just the 2 of us (3 with our pup) but there is room for a family or even a few friends getting together. On rainy days there are some games & books or just relax & watch the wildlife that visits. There is also plenty to do in the area & Kasia is very prompt in answering any questions.

Our whole family loved this house. It was the perfect size for four, and the backyard with lake access was such a treat. We enjoyed greeting all of our visitors… deer, bunnies, geese, and even a ground hog! The host is very quick to respond to questions and the house is very clean and has everything you need. Using the row boat for fishing was the highlight for our kids. I would recommend this house!
